Great buying experience. Great team and friendly service. Very impressed with this dealership and the team. Even went above and beyond with my complaint about what I thought were scratches but actually turned out to be glue from factory plastic. Jeff nailed it and the managers were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Ralph Made Our Car Buying Experience Outstanding!
My significant other purchased a car for me. We had gone to several places to look at vehicles. Hands down, Suburban Subaru of Vernon excelled in all departments! Our Product Specialist, Ralph Zurkowski, was informative, attentive, looked us directly in the eyes when speaking to us, had a great deal of info on the car we came to see. We can't say enough about Ralph and the overall service that Suburban Subaru of Vernon provided. Ralph also went above and beyond when we came to pick up our registration plates. We would not hesitate to recommend Suburban Subaru of Vernon to any of our family members and friends. A big thank you as well to Tierra Schaffer, Finance Manager. It's great to hear how much people enjoy their workplace, both Ralph and Tierra spoke highly of Suburban Subaru of Vernon, which gave us confidence that we would be dealing with a very good company. As exciting as it is to shop for a vehicle, it can also be nerve wracking. Ralph understood this and never made us feel like we were asking too many questions or taking up too much of his time. Seriously, need a new vehicle? Suburban Subaru of Vernon won't disappoint! Ask for Ralph Zurkowski.

Wonderful Experience
I absolutely loved the atmosphere at this dealership. I totaled my car and had to get a new one relatively quickly, and this dealership made the car buying process incredibly easy. John Woodman was absolutely incredible with his knowledge of all the cars in the Subaru lineup as well as with his customer service. I cannot recommend this dealership or John enough. Wonderful experience!

Poor experience
I just bought two cars a Forester and an Impreza. It seemed like all was going well. The salesman was knowledgeable and the people seemed cooperative. We agreed on a price and closed the deal. The business manager informed me that the bank was offering an incentive to finance with them and was willing to give us a Zurich Coating and extended warranty if I financed with them. I agreed and signed the deal. When the bank sent the payment book I was surprised to see that I was paying $1,700 more than the agreed price. I called the bank and they informed me that the $1,700 was for the warranty and coating that were supposed to be free. I called the dealership and have never received a call back. This is certainly no way to run a business..

Visited the dealership on New Year's Eve looking to buy a...
Visited the dealership on New Year's Eve looking to buy a Outback. Talked with Don the salesman, who was kind and informative. We decided to move forward to talking numbers after I selected the car I wanted to purchase, and when I presented him with an email from another Subaru dealership showing the same model car for less money, we came to a deal that Suburban Subaru would match the price. We shook hands and he was going to get the ball rolling. I told my two boys that Daddy was getting the car that he loved, and everyone was excited. However, Issac, the sales manager, who has been doing this for 20 years (he constantly mentioned that), told me that they could not honor the deal and that Don never actually told me the deal was done. This was embarrassing, infuriating, and dishonest. This sales manager, in front of my children, was saying, not in so many words, that I was lying and I never reached a deal with Don because he does not have the authority to do that. Meanwhile, I am looking at the desk where the deal was done, and see an award that states"Salesman of the Year." Under my limited experience, I feel when a salesman reaches a deal with a customer, even if the salesman does not have the authority to do so, the company he works for should honor the deal. This was the worst negotiating experience of my life, and I would urge every potential customer to make sure they are aware of my experience before walking through Suburban Subaru's doors. When life throws you curveballs, you roll with it and hope for the best. It helps though, to have good people in your corner. Lane Resnik and John Woodman from Suburban Subaru met us in that corner when my family needed cars, one by one. We never imagined we would purchase four in less than one year, but here we are. We received superior customer service - they treated us like family. We will definitely return again, although we will admit we hope it’s not too soon LOL. Forget five stars - they get ten!

Fantastic Car Buying Experience
This was a fantastic car buying experience. From the time I started inquiring online about a vehicle, to the time I was greeted by Amanda as I entered the dealership, the customer care was phenomenal. I inquired online about a certain vehicle. I immediately got a response from Laura, I explained my situation to her, and she set up an appointment for me later that day. I drove an hour to the dealer from my residence. Amanda greeted me as I entered the dealership. She was quick to get the ball rolling. She asked me a few questions to confirm my needs, took some info. From me, and she was off to get the vehicle I choose to take it for a test drive. While on the test drive Amanda was a wealth of knowledge, and explained the features of the vehicle to me. When we got back to the dealership, my trade in had been appraised and Patrick was working on a credit approval. This did not take long, Amanda was communicating to me the entire way, explaining to me what was going on. We agreed on a price for the new vehicle and my trade. Not a long process at all, never any pressure or drama. After a short wait, I was in to see Manny in finance to sign all the paperwork, Manny was great and took the time to explain everything to me without rushing. I entered the dealership at 3:00 and was out at 5:00. I could have taken the car that night but choose to come back the next day to take delivery. Also Amanda took me to the parts department to get some accessories I wanted on the vehicle, which they had in stock and installed for me. When I came in the next day to take delivery, Amanda took a lot of time explain all the features on the vehicle to me. I was very impressed by how well I was treated by everyone here, and how smooth the entire process went. Never felt pressured and treated with respect. Amanda is amazing, she is a wealth of knowledge, organized, and very easy to work with. I will definitely be recommending my friends and family use this dealership when buying a Subaru. Thank you Amanda, Manny, Patrick, Parts, and Service, for making this the best car buying experience I’ve had.

Horrible service experience quoted 4800 to 6500 for...
Horrible service experience quoted 4800 to 6500 for complete engine repair. Towed it to another place paid 800 and fixed. Completely misdiagnosed and no empathy or repayment for tow. senior management made me feel it was my issue not theirs. kept bragging about their years in the business. Have owned Suburus for years and have had many well over 200,000 miles. Dealt with many dealers but none like this. They did offer to give me the tow fee back in form of credit for future service from them. Don’t think I will let them touch my car again. Can say that Luke in the service area is very professional.

Bill Affinito was great
Just bought a new Forester from Bill Affinitio. He was awesome. Very low key but knowledgeable and friendly. Searched around for color and package we wanted. No nonsense with the price negotiations. He took lots of time with us on delivery and made sure we knew all about the car before we left, showed us around Service area and set up first service visit. We were very impressed with the whole operation and Bill in particular. Would absolutely recommend Suburban Subaru and Bill to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

Excellent Experience
Just purchased a used vehicle for our 17-year-old daughter at Suburban Subaru (Vernon, CT) and had a great experience. The product specialist that we worked with, Bruce Lavallee, was exceptional. He was polite, respectful, and was willing to work with us to meet our needs. We appreciated his knowledge of the vehicle, professionalism, and efficiency throughout the entire process. The people make the dealership, and I would definitely recommend Suburban Subaru. The Sales Manager Ray worked with Bruce to provide us with our requests and Manny made the financing process easy. Great team of associates.
