Horrible first car buying experience.
To start, it took the dealership a couple days to get back to us with a final price on a used vehicle. When we told them we wanted it, they said no down payment was needed and we agreed on picking it up in 4 days. In that time, we were promised a new battery, an oil change and the normal detailing to be completed by pick up. We called the morning of to make sure everything was good for the 2pm appt. The car was not ready...none of the things were done by 10 am. We arrived. The car was not brought down and ready to go. My boyfriend had to go to the service dept to get paperwork that still wasn’t completed and confirm the vehicle was properly prepped for delivery because the sales dept didn’t do it ahead of time. They then had to ask a salesman to get the car. This car was for my 17 year old daughter, who saved this money and paid cash and was quite excited about her new vehicle...until we heard this sales guy loudly complain about having to take care of us while sitting in the sales floor area. This was because the salesguy we originally was unavailable to be there were then brought back to sign the paperwork. The finance guy rushed us through it. He hardly explained anything to my daughter, making her first car buying experience one that made her feel uneasy. He never offered us an extended warranty then wanted us to sign a couple sketchy looking forms. One was to decline the extended warranty, which did not say anything about declining an extended warranty on it, just extra benefits. Another form was a web printout of the accessories they offer with a penned in line to sign and a penned in decline written above it. Once the paperwork was completed I had to sign a loan agreement because even after this dealership had this car in the lot for at least 3-4 weeks or longer, they could not find the title. We then were told were all set, no congratulations to my daughter on her new car, no walking her out and showing her all the features of her new car, just a thanks and “we’re all set here”. The car was inside the showroom and we were left to push the button to open the door to drive out. My boyfriend had to drive her car home with her as the passenger because with the dealer plate, a 17 year old is not allowed to drive. So it’s been 2 weeks with us calling almost every other day to see if they’ve got the title and her new registration paperwork done and we are still without the title or having the car registered to her and I. We were told at some point they were told by the bank there was no lien on the car and the form had been faxed over, but they can’t find it. We had bought this car 2 weeks before going out of the country so my daughter would have a vehicle to use for work, but instead she only gets to stare at it in the driveway while trying to find rides to and from work everyday while we’re away. Her first car buying experience was horrible, frustrating and sad. We will NOT be using this dealership again, nor will I be recommending it to anyone. We are also STILL WAITING for the title and registration to be in our names.

Thank you for your message. We are sorry for the delay you have experienced with the purchase of your car. Secor Auto Center registered your car and the Department of Motor Vehicles will make a new title and send it to you as soon as it is ready. Perhaps because of the holidays there has been a delay in getting it to you. We can understand the excitement of purchasing your first car and wanting to be able to drive it off the showroom floor. To remedy this, we would like to offer your daughter a gift certificate and ask her to come back when she receives the title so that we can take a picture of her with her first car.
Snafu resolved
Maintenance app't recommended rear brakes pads replaced as they were down to 2mm. Came in and was told rotors needed to be turned and sway bar links were broken. Because this was not noticed on the first app't which was just the prior week, Secor made good on the repair by waiving the labor for said repairs. I was impressed with their integrity.

Very organized service dept. - efficient and on time. Waiting room is comfy with drinks & tv. Amanda helped me with my audio system controls in the garage before they started my service stuff.

I'm very disappointed with Secor
What has happened to Secor Subaru? Everyone that I have dealt with over the last five years, and five Subarus is gone. The new service department seems totally confused. For example: a few months ago I brought one of our Subarus in for service. I had an appointment but the first person to address me could not find my appointment on her computer. Then she went to a different computer and found it. Isn't their systems integrated? More recently I brought a different car in far a steering issue.: After an hour an a half I was told that they could not find the problem but the service tech thought I should consider new tires. He printed two estimates on my $89 bill - for finding nothing. I called the next day to set up an appointment for purchasing tires. The person I talked to seemed unable to access the quotes given me one day earlier and asked me to go out to my car and read her the description of the tires. Then after having to go look at something and call me back she gave me a price for each tire - no installation, etc. I told her I already had a price for the total "out the door." She was unable to access that. I have since bought the tires at $150 less from a local tire store. What has happened to Secor Subaru?

Awesome Sales Dept!
Larry Becker was able to locate just the right SUBARU Forester for me. This is my third Forester from Secor SUBARU. He oriented me to all of the new features in the 2019 model. There was absolutely no pressure and best of all no haggling. I highly recommend this dealership. FYI... great service department also.

Everyone was friendly and professional and willing to explain what was done to my car to my satisfaction. The waiting area is nice and there's even coffee and donuts!

Attentive and smooth

service with a smile
secor service was so easy to deal with. I had a major repair needed on my vehicle . they kept me updated as to the progress of the repair. Also because it was a major repair they gave me a loaner to use while my car was in the shop. they explained the repair in easy to understand layman's terms for us non mechanics !
