Much like the rest of the reviews about Brustolon Buick GMC, my experience so far has been mostly negative trying to buy a car from out of state. Jim the sales person raised the price by $1000 because I am a cash buyer. Be extra careful when dealing with Jim.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I called ahead about a black Camaro SS2 that was on the lot and was told the car looked great, that we could negotiate a fair price, and that they would give me a reasonable value for my trade-in. Based on those conversations, I drove four hours to see the vehicle. When I arrived, the car was dirty, the wheels were covered in grease, and there was a significant sideswipe/scrape along the lower left front side. The salesperson told me they do not clean vehicles before showing them to potential buyers and that the car was being sold “as is,” so they would not repair the damage. To make matters worse, they offered a very low value for my trade-in, which is in excellent condition. None of these issues were disclosed before I made the four-hour trip. What disappointed me most was the lack of professionalism and concern for the fact that I had traveled so far based on the information they provided. The staff seemed uninterested in addressing the condition of the car or the misleading expectations that had been set. Fortunately, I ended up purchasing the Camaro I wanted from a dealership in New York. The experience was night and day—professional, honest, and respectful. I got a better color, a lower price, and a vehicle that looked practically brand new. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership. I found them to be misleading, unprofessional, and unwilling to properly present or care for the vehicles they are selling.

Out-of-state and luxury buyers beware: Brustolon Buick GMC utilizes highly deceptive front-end sales tactics. I negotiated a cross-state deal with Sales Consultant Arvy Samis with the explicit, non-negotiable requirement of a true exclusionary (Bumper-to-Bumper) vehicle service contract. They authorized a hard credit pull based strictly on that agreement. Once my credit data was secured, Arvy, Sales Manager Kevin Tobey, and General Manager Brendan Casey attempted a "fine print swap." They presented a service contract boldly labeled "Exclusionary Coverage" at the top, but the actual legally binding body of the contract contains an exhaustive "Schedule of Coverages" listing specific covered parts. By standard legal definition, a contract that lists covered parts is an Inclusionary / Stated Component policy, not an exclusionary one. When called out directly on this misrepresentation, both Kevin Tobey and GM Brendan Casey verbally promised a follow-up and a prompt resolution. Instead, both have completely ducked my calls and gone completely silent, leaving a hard credit inquiry on my profile without delivering the agreed-upon product. A formal fraud and deceptive trade practices complaint has been officially filed with the Connecticut Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Department under the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (CUTPA), as well as the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and the FTC. Check every line of your paperwork if you deal with this store; their management's word means absolutely nothing.

Horrendous service. Came in to look at a vehicle with sales rep Rick Dalton during my lunch break. He brought the vehicle to a mechanic for me at 1:00 pm we confirmed I’d be back at 4:30 pm that day, I arrive before 4:30 and was greeted at the door to step outside and wait in my car so he can “talk the new buyer out of it” because someone else is buying the truck as I got here. Unprofessional and unnecessary waste of time.

I recently purchased a 2026 GMC Sierra Denali from Brustolon. The finance team were not knowledgeable of all GMC incentives so they said it seemed to be. I went back and forth with the price of the vehicle to have them still short me $500 in bonus cash from GMC. I went for a test drive in the new truck, I spoke to the salesmen’s about the $500 and not good experience with the finance team. He told me he would have the truck ceramic coated not to worry about the $1000 fee. Well after having the truck for 8 days I decided to wash it at home. There is no ceramic coating applied to my truck at all. I’ve been washing and waxing vehicles for well over 30 years and when you get water on a vehicle with ceramic coating, there’s no denying it. I reached out to the salesmen and he reads my text messages and does not reply. I made a mistake by leaving him a good review, because he’d no different than any other dirtbag salesman out there. I have been asking for copies of my financial paperwork I signed and I still have had no response or paperwork sent to me. I filed a claim with BBB CT and GMC Corporate. They have multiple negative reviews about the finance team and salesmen. I should have stayed away. I will never recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle here

Unfortunately, I drove 6 hours and 400 miles for nothing due to a lack of communication. I live in New Hampshire and inquired with Chris about a vehicle that had just arrived on the lot. I knew the vehicle would sell fast and couldn't get down there the same day, so I asked about putting a deposit down. They don't do deposits - no problem, lots of dealers don't. I said I could come down first thing the following morning and Chris said he would see me then. Throughout the day, my wife and I corresponded back and forth with Chris about the process of buying from out-of-state, and checked that the vehicle was still available. I made the 3-hour drive down to Brustolon the next morning, and was greeted by staff as though they were expecting me. Great! Then Arvy sat me at his desk and told me that the vehicle had already been sold to another customer. Not so great. I asked if they had anything comparable in stock, but nothing on the lot matched what I was looking for. They said they might have something coming in at the end of the week. I left and drove 3 hours back home. I understand that sales are first come, first served, but after all of the correspondence, no one could be bothered to tell me the vehicle was sold? They knew I was coming from New Hampshire, and a simple text or email would have saved me a lot of time and gas. Not impressed.

Thank you for the great service. Everything was perfect. Starbucks coffee in the lounge. Employees all were nice. Price is reasonable, less than most quick lube places.

I would not recommend giving this company your time or money. For over a month, I had been communicating with Chris regarding one of their used vehicles. Today, I finally had a day off and went to the dealership with my daughter to test drive the car. The sales associate, Arvy who found us outside looking at the car, grabbed to keys to open it up and take it for a test ride. Arvy then scanned my driver's license and we got into the vehicle to begin the test drive. However, only a few minutes later, I was told that I was not allowed to test drive the car. Arvy stated that he had just gotten off the phone with the manager, but he refused to provide the manager's name. This experience was both frustrating and concerning. Based on the situation and how it was handled, I feel that I may have been treated this way because of my ethnicity and the way I look.
