HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - Once you leave the dealership the customer service is NONEXISTENT !!! I provided an insurance card prior to picking up a car I bought for my son. He’s in Chicago, I’m in NY. They were supposed to register the car in NY. 56 days later they ask for another copy of the insurance card (which I provided). 2 weeks before our 90 temporary plates were to expire, we emailed inquiring where our plates were. I left numerous messages for the General Manager, multiple assistant managers and my sales rep, and no one would call me back. I finally got a message from the title dept saying that the insurance card needed both our names on it (which I provided within 30 minutes). Apparently they never followed up with their registration facilitator to find out what was the hold up for 85 days. After emailing multiple people (because no one would call me back), I finally got a response from the assistant manager Sean who tried to blame me for their mistake and failure to get my plates on time. This caused my temporary plates to expire and required me to have to pay to park the car in a garage and not use it for 10 days since it is illegal to drive it with expired plates and can be ticketed or towed. I asked Sean for a loaner and he said no. I called the Illinois Secretary of State to report them for failing to provide plates within 90 days and they had to contact the dealer to get a response. I’LL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM THEM!

Another great experience at Joe Perillo BMW with Michael Fezatte. He made the whole process very simple and turned around our new car search from first contact to leaving showroom with the chosen vehicle (complete with custom spec) in less than 7 days. He understood what we were looking for and delivered a no nonsense, enjoyable buying experience. We will be back again.

I had an exceptional experience with Michael Romero. I contacted him about a BMW X2 and he confirmed the vehicle was in stocked. I came in the dealership 30 minutes later where I was directed to him. Upon our interaction he was very responsive and respectful. I told him about my concerns dealing with the BMW dealership in Naperville. He ensured me that he would provide me with full transparency. He showed me the vehicle and allowed me to test drive it. I was very impressed and wanted to discuss the financial aspects of the vehicle. Michael was very knowledgeable & honest. The numbers worked out and he provided me with a full break down of the car fax and the performance of the car. Lastly, after picking up the car he set up my bmw app and spent time being attentive making sure I understood how my car performed. I was thankful with how he presented my car with a cute bow and how he made sure I had a full tank of gas, all my questions was answered. He even followed up days later to ask about my experience. Please, visit this location and ask for Michael R he’s enthusiastic and pleasant to work with. Thanks again.

Bait & Switch!!! I recently visited BMW of Perillo in Chicago to view a used vehicle I was interested in purchasing, and my experience was unfortunately very disappointing. Upon arrival, I was not greeted by anyone, despite the showroom not appearing busy. Eventually, I located the sales representative I had been corresponding with, Louis, who showed me the vehicle and accompanied me on a test drive. During the test drive, I noticed that one of the tires had a significantly low pressure reading of 27 PSI, while the others were within normal limits. It was concerning that such a basic safety check had not been completed prior to allowing a test drive. Following the test drive, Louis and I discussed my concerns and negotiated a lower price to account for the missing jack and the potential tire issue. He confirmed with his manager that the adjusted price could be honored and assured me that I could return on Monday to finalize the purchase. When I returned to the dealership as planned, Louis was unavailable. Again I had to look for someone to offer assistance. Another salesperson helped but stated that there were no notes documenting the negotiated price. After I explained the situation, the sales manager came to speak with me. Unfortunately, his demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional. He blatantly refused to honor the price that had been agreed upon and confirmed just two days earlier. Shortly after leaving, Louis texted to apologize for his absence and mentioned that he would discuss the matter with the general manager upon their return. However, by that point, the experience had already left a deeply negative impression. Overall, I found BMW of Perillo to be unreliable and lacking in professionalism and integrity. They did not honor their word, failed to communicate internally, and showed little regard for my time or business. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others to exercise care and confirm all details in writing before dealing with this dealership. You may be better served by another dealership that prioritizes integrity and customer respect.
