My salesman Pete Surdi was very knowledgeable and helpful. As were all the other employees. I highly recommend Hilltop Nissan to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Great product. Great service.
I have not leased a car from Hilltop in a decade, however my visit Saturday was like a day at Yankee Stadium. Sales and management listened to my needs,... and my budget and I drove out in a brand new, shiny vehicle in slightly more than an hour. This is the best, most professional dealership in New Jersey.

I leased a 2017 Rogue back in September of 2017. The finance manager sold me an insurance policy to cover any end of lease charges related to excess use.... Upon expiration of the lease (September 2020) I made a claim for the excess use charge, but the insurance company would not honor it. The sales and business practices of the Hilltop Nissan team were clearly underhanded and unprofessional. I leased another car from them shortly before my lease expired. If I had known the true nature of their business practices, I would never have leased another car. I will never recommend purchasing or leasing a car from Hilltop Nissan. In addition, the related entity - Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation - is almost unwilling to assist customers with any issues related to the financial issues related to Nissan vehicles.
I am not one to readily complain, to the contrary, I try to have a "benefit of the doubt" attitude. My 2004 Maxima has been at the dealership for diagnostics... and repair for approx. 3 weeks now. Periodically I have been in contact by a dealer representative, giving me updates, which always amount to "we're still trying to find out what's wrong". One day last week, I was told that it would be a matter of a few hours until my car would be ready. I never heard another word that entire day. I called one day, and was transferred to the service manager. I got a voicemail, left a message, and never received a return call. I was told that a loaner car is in order, to help out. As of yet, no word on that. I have spent more than 150.00 on Ubers, imposed on friends for rides, and missed being with my son on his birthday. I haven't been an annoying customer, by calling every day, as that would not serve to do anything except a "possible" rush job. The main reason I chose a Nissan dealership for repairs, is that I felt confident as to an amount of professionalism, genuine Nissan parts, etc. At the end of the day, I remain a "benefit of the doubt" individual, however, there is a limit.
I recently purchased a car from Hilltop and it was the best car buying experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in the door, they made me feel... like I was at home. Peter was incredibly knowledgeable and put all my nerves at ease. Any employee I came in touch with were so pleasant. Billy, Sebastian, and Dean. They all made sure I was informed and understood every part of the process. I will always do business with Hilltop. The family vibe they present makes the entire car buying process easier and enjoyable!
I have been a long time customer. The last sales person I had retired, and I was given to Pete for my new lease.. He understood and fulfilled all of my... requests. It was a smooth transaction, we did everything over the phone. I told him I had limited time to pickup the vehicle, and he had everything ready when i got there. All I had to do is sign and drive.
I've leased a few vehicles from Hilltop Nissan, What a great experience and everyone is so helpful, smooth and easy process. Sebastian, Rocco, Dean and... Billy what a pleasure to work with them. I will never go anywhere else, wonderful service too!
