They added extra fees once I got to the dealership, they

They added extra fees once I got to the dealership, they didn’t wash my car, the sales guy David literally said, “because these are used cars not new.” They didn’t even rinse the outside of the vehicle. I asked him specifics about the car and he didn’t know, and he literally said, “you can Google.” They gave me one key that was broken and told me I could go up the street to their guy who makes keys at a low rate. They kept asking me how much money I had to put down instead of being straight forward about financing. I only went through them because they were an approved dealer with my bank. Do not recommend!

If I could give them a double zero rating, I would.

If I could give them a double zero rating, I would. Don't buy a car from them unless you want thousands of dollars added to your contract (hidden) without you knowing it. They have you sign on a tablet so you are unable to read all of your contract & then they email the contract to you. I had my doubts and should have checked out the reviews on yelp, because they are BAD!!! We should have known better. They didn't ask if they could run our credit, they just ran it with a lender that we didn't want. They added almost $5000 by the way they did the breakdown...but again, you couldn't see it. Then they added a reconditioning fee of $2,249.00 to make the "truck look good". That's no even something that you legally have to pay...but again, it was hidden. When we went back in and tried to talk to them, (TIM) told us that he wasn't going to correct anything and was extremely unprofessional. They lure you in, rush you out, and quietly cheat you. We've purchase a lot of cars and trucks, but this was absolutely the WORST car buying experience ever. They are money hungry devils!!!

I bought a car from them and they mentioned everything is

I bought a car from them and they mentioned everything is in a good condition almost like new and had to pay them reconditioning fees. The sales person name Sunday he doesn’t have any manner, so rude and liar. I trust him and his speech and his experience and he told me there are no issues with the car and everything in a good condition. I trust them, but after few days I discovered my car’s all the tires are 8 years old and in a damaged condition. I told them they said they can’t do anything even they said I have to pay again if I want to change the tires. I came here today and they said if I remove the review they will change it and take care of it and after that they changed their mind. Then I request them if I pay 50% of the total price, they said okay let us check this out, but after waiting for 1 hour they said they can’t, I have to pay full. So, why there is a warranty for 15 days? and why would you give me 4 damaged tires? Such a bad service, I will never recommend this company.

This company is so so Bad they all lie all vehicles are bad no good!!! Trust me get any vehicle checked out before you buy from them I purchased a vehicle 2013 truck ford f150 took it to the Ford dealership to get checked out they said truck had been re wired to work and a lot more stuff wrong with it. Cost more to fix than the truck was worth. Called Ideal Cars to talk to the manager about five times never received a call back no one offered to help no one offered to fix the problem. Purchased it on May 3 broke down May 10 called the warranty it was nothing covered but when purchased said it was bumper to bumper they lied about that. So just wanted to post the truth to make people aware!!!

I had a broker assist me & this made a big difference.. the issue I’ve had is taking the vehicle for service , I felt like was more of a burden taking the vehicle to get serviced… I’m still not real confident that the issues were resolved…☹️

My husband bought me a car from Ideal Cars in Mesa, AZ,

My husband bought me a car from Ideal Cars in Mesa, AZ, on May 13, 2025. As much as I like the car once the deal was done they could have been a bit more attentive to details. Such as gas…My husband didn’t have enough gas to get home. They had a chance to get the car ready for pickup but they did a poor job washing the car, and windows were smeared. Also had to take the car back the next day because a tire was leaking air, so they patched it. We paid cash which we thought would mean more to them, would somehow hold some kind of weight. I’m not sure if I would recommend them because after the deal was done, these exit details mattered to us more than to the dealer!!!

Got to the dealership and test drove one of their cars.

Got to the dealership and test drove one of their cars. It drove pretty good and now unusual sounds. Engine and transmission were just fine. Upon further inspection, ALL FOUR TIRES were different with likely 4-5/32 of tread left except for ONE tire which looked new. I opened the engine bay and noticed how clean it was. I made a comment about how they (the dealer) did a great job cleaning the car. The sales guy then says, "Oh well, that was likely the previous owner who cleaned it. We don't look at these cars because we know we're only getting good cars." I thought cool, let's go in and talk numbers. Sat down and sales guy hands me a piece of paper with a price that is TWICE the online advertised price. He says we have to qualify for the advertised price, after asking why it's so much. He also points to a $2250 "Reconditioning Fee". If you did ANY reconditioning, I would AT LEAST see 4 NEW matching tires. HUGE RED FLAG! I can immediately tell they were lying. Shady business practices. I KNOW how dealerships are ran and they are NOT one of the good ones. I immediately figured out that they prey on the uninformed. BUYER BEWARE!

Dealer response

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that your visit didn’t meet expectations. We want to clarify that all of our advertised prices clearly state that they do not include tax, title, license, a reconditioning fee, or other applicable charges. This is industry standard and is disclosed in our advertising and on our website. The reconditioning fee helps cover the cost of inspection and improvements we make to ensure our vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Regarding the tires and overall vehicle condition, we strive to offer reliable pre-owned vehicles, and we welcome any customer to bring up concerns during inspection. We’re also open to reviewing and negotiating all reasonable offers—we want every customer to feel they received fair value. We understand how important trust is when buying a vehicle and take your feedback seriously. If you'd like to discuss your concerns further or give us another opportunity, we’re happy to talk and make things right. Thank you again for the feedback.
