Purchased a Telluride on June 19th and had a total nightmare post-sale experience due to extreme administrative incompetence. Kia on Atlantic failed to properly manage my trade-in payoff with Lexus Financial Services—sending a payoff that was $152.37 short, withholding the required odometer statement, and failing to provide the Authorization for Payoff (APO). Because of their gross delays, my old account was on the verge of hitting 30 days past due, placing my credit score at direct risk through no fault of my own. Lexus attempted to reach anyone at this dealership for weeks with zero response. Calls to the main line are repeatedly dumped straight into general voicemail boxes. I reached out to Finance Manager Darius Smith, sales staff (Brandon), Manager Chris, Abigail Hill, and Heather Borino in accounting with virtually no sense of urgency or follow-through. Only after I threatened formal complaints with the FLHSMV DMV regional office did they finally process the shorted balance and odometer statement—but they still failed to submit the required APO to close the account. In the end, I had to personally call Lexus Financial myself, obtain the APO, sign it, and email it back to do the dealership’s job for them and protect my own credit before the deadline. Avoid trading in a vehicle here unless you want your credit held hostage by gross back-office negligence. General Manager Chris Layton needs to overhaul his administrative team immediately.

On a recent visit Abby Hill provided outstanding customer service. She was very helpful with our service needs and answered all of our questions in a supporting and professional manner. Our family was completely satisfied with our service experience. We will continue to recommend Kia on Atlantic to our family and friends.

I have owned my Kia for almost a year now and recently moved across the country. I needed an oil change and called the Kia dealership in my way home from work and they were able to get me in same day/within minutes. The customer service of everyone at the dealership was great, facility was very nice, and the complementary drinks/snacks were a great bonus! :)

Our new Kia Telluride is awesome! However, I would not recommend this dealership. Almost 30 days later and we are still waiting on our tag. The dealership made a mistake in our paperwork so they overnighted it to us, we signed the corrected copy and overnighted it back. This was done the same week we bought the car. We are ready to go out of state and our temporary tag is about to expire. Our local tag office has no info from the dealership. It is impossible to get someone at the dealership to take our call or call us back when I actually get a voicemail. I have waited on hold for over two hours of combined time. In addition, we were not given the bill of sale (which was supposed to be on a jump drive that was given to us). No bill of sale makes it impossible to get out temp tag extended by our local tag office. Basically, they are good at getting the sale done. They are so good that we weren't really sure if we were done when the salesman left us at the car-actually jogging away. But, if you need anything after the sale, you can absolutely forget it. While corporate Kia does not "control" individual dealerships, they do take complaints and try to help. Corporate kept me on the line for 30 minutes while they tried to get someone on the phone. They had no success, hung up and came back on the line with me. They told me how rudely they were treated by the customer service operator and that they had been on hold this whole time. The rudeness was a fact that I had not shared with them even though I was shocked at how I was spoken to this afternoon. Corporate apologized and said they didn't want to keep me on hold and that they are going to call them right back and stay on this. They will call me with an update as soon as possible. Update: Corporate spoke with the general manager who was supposed to call me. That did it happen. I emailed the CEO but am not anticipating any help. Vacation will have to be put on hold.

KIA on ATLANTIC: The ultimate "shady used car" experience — but on a brand-new car. At 71 years old, I have bought many cars, but this was hands-down the worst car buying experience of my life. The deception started immediately: the salesman told us we were buying a 2026 Kia K4, but it turned out to be a 2025 model. The finance manager, Tony Ruxxxxi, was incredibly dishonest. He refused to show us any hard numbers during the process, hiding behind a digital-only system and "monthly payment" tactics. Against our better judgment, we finished the deal and were handed a thumb drive with 47 poorly named PDFs. When I finally dug through the files, I discovered total fraud. The $2,000 discount we negotiated was completely left off. Instead, Tony snuck in a "basic protection package" and massive fees that inflated a $30,000 car to a staggering $52,000. To top it off, despite my wife having Tier 1 credit, he locked her into a 7.25% interest rate, boldly lying to our faces that "everybody pays that rate regardless of credit rating." Avoid Tony Ruxxxxi and Kia on Atlantic at all costs. Note: we have been back to the dealership many times with no resolution. We contacted Kia Customer Care and filed 2 claims. Again, we got no response from the dealership. I have filed claims with Florida Attorney General (still waiting). Just finished filing a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Again, stay away from this place. I am embarrassed how easily I was taken and infuriated that people like Finance mgr. would take such advantage of seniors.
