AVOID THIS SHADY DEN OF SCAMMERS AT ALL COSTS! ZERO STARS IF I COULD! I called Chicago Carmaster about their 2017 Tesla Model X P100D listed on Cars.com for $24,999 (VIN 5YJXCDE4XHF052130) – a seemingly great deal on a high-performance EV with Full Self-Driving. What a colossal mistake. These crooks immediately hit me with the bait-and-switch: “Oh, it’s actually $29,000, but we’ll apply the federal EV rebate to knock it down to $25k for you.” Are you kidding me? That’s straight-up FRAUD! The IRS clean vehicle tax credit for used EVs explicitly requires the vehicle’s sale price to be $25,000 or LESS to qualify – not some inflated “original” price they magically “discount” after the fact. They’re LYING about the value to game the system, pocketing the rebate difference while screwing buyers and the government. This isn’t a deal; it’s a felony waiting to happen! When I called them out on this illegal xx and explained that I just need to sign the sales docs for the IRS to handle eligibility (no need for their “verification”), they demanded a PHOTO OF MY DRIVER’S LICENSE (FRONT AND BACK) AND MY FULL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER right then and there. Who the xxxx does that over the phone from strangers? I told them I’m not comfortable handing over my personal info to a fly-by-night operation I don’t know from Adam, and that’s when the real mask slipped. The salesman laughed in my face, mocked me, and snarled, “Then go buy somewhere else!” Rude doesn’t even begin to cover it – this was aggressive, dismissive, and downright HOSTILE, like dealing with a pack of con artists who hate their jobs and customers equally. Chicago Carmaster, you’re not a dealership; you’re a scam factory preying on EV buyers desperate for deals. Your “CARFAX certified” spiel is just smoke and mirrors to hide the dirt. I reported this to Cars.com, the BBB, and the IRS fraud line – and you should too if you’ve been burned. STAY AWAY, folks. There are honest dealers out there; this ain’t one of them. What a disgrace!

Very easy car buying experience. Do not hesitate just because the place is small...not a grand place like the new and used car dealers we normally see . We were referred to Chicago Car Masters from my brother-in-law, a mechanic who purchased a low mileage Camry from the owner, Shafi, a few years back. His experiences seemed to mirror mine. Shafi shows you the vehicles he has available, allows you to test drive without any hassle....he even allowed us to take the car and get inspected without any questions. The 2013 Rav4 we purchased was in great shape and the price was well below any other comparable vehicle we had looked at from other dealers. Would recommend this place easily.

I purchased 2013 Toyota Camry LE. The price was less than any other dealer. I really liked how I was able to look around and test drive the car without having someone watching me.
