Update 10/24: Changing my rating after working with Rob

Update 10/24: Changing my rating after working with Rob Satter and his team. They were willing and able to work with us to rectify the situation. Although this car did not work out for us, we are happy with the overall outcome. Thank you Rob and Ken for your help.

Run don't walk from them

Wanted to buy a car they took a week to appraise my trade in then low balled me by thousands of dollars from CarMax offer. Then lied and said they sold the car instead of matching CarMax offer which they say they do.

This Place is Awesome.

This Place is Awesome. This is the 8th vehicle we have gotten from this dealership and when I dared to venture to another dealership and was taken advantage of and put in a really bad deal, they pulled that out as well. Thank you for all you do.

I would highly not recommend purchasing a vehicle from

I would highly not recommend purchasing a vehicle from here. We purchased a Lincoln Aviator in Dec 2022. It was apart of their buy back program which is them purchasing lemon cars AND NOT FIXING THEM. We were told it was perfectly fine, new transmission and under warranty. This was by far a lie. By December 31st, our car completely stop working. They worked on the car for over a month and half. And less than a month later, we had the same issue. It’s now August 2023 and we are still experiencing the same issues and driven the care less than 30 days. Lincoln has denied our good faith review to purchase back the car 4 times. I’ve called and left voicemails to the General Manager, Rob Satter, and until this day never heard back. I’ve now found out that our vehicle has been bought back by Lincoln 3x and we were never informed of this information during purchase. From reading reviews, you can tell I am not the only person this has happened to. What they are doing here is NOT RIGHT.

Very pushy sales staff.

Very pushy sales staff. .Multiple contacts acfer i aaked them to not keep comtacting me. They knew I was from California, but they did not tell me they are not allowed to sell cars to people in California until I asked them to send me a complete offer sheet. I liked the car, and I thought the price was fair if they did not have mark ups.

Buying a car is great but getting request done is not

Buying a car is great but getting request done is not good. I've been searching for the particular model/trim/equipment and this place was the only one had it so I drove 1.5hrs from my work to look and purchased the car. There was heavy oxidation on roof and asked them to make it better before I pick it up on following week. Also, window tint was cut off on all side windows due to darkness issue with NC. They are removing and service the car before pickup. That was fine. Over the weekend (I live 4hrs away), I contacted sales person and asked him to get window tinted again. He agreed and gotten tinting job done. When I went to pickup my vehicle, roof was much worse shape and windows were tinted but rear window was not. The original tint on rear window was not supposed to be stripped. Having no transportation (my co-league drove me to get a car) I picked it up and drove back to the city I work. Now I had to take it to collision specialist to repair my roof for more $$$ to shed. Also, final paperwork was done by another person and he was not so pleasant. No price negotiation because sales guy said "No Haggle Price"...

Never again

General sals manager is rude and not helpful. He should have some more professional manners . They run my credit and my info they said they approved me without putting a down payment . I was going to put down payment Almost half of the price. Then they call to tell me they are not going forward…

I came by Saturday and spoke with Shonte, she was absolutely one of the nicest saleswomen I've encountered. I let her know what I was looking for and the price range and she gave me several options to look over and think on. I will be back there soon to see her!

The worst experience I ever had.

The worst experience I ever had. Classical Bait and switch. I found a truck I liked, called and got details. Made a deal and drove 3 hours to pick up. Only to be told, sorry we sold it. Can I interest you in a lesser truck for the same money? Will never work with Capital Ford of Charlotte again.

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review of your experience. We always strive to provide a 5 star experience for all of our customers. Unfortunately, we had a customer arrive with a cashiers check and purchase the vehicle that you were interested in. In an attempt to help you to the best of our ability, we showed you a few vehicles that we had on our lot that we thought may be a good fit. We are still happy to help you in any way possible if there is another vehicle you feel may work well for your needs. We can always be reached at 704-598-2599. - Rob Satter, Jr. - Executive Manager

Bad experience purchasing a 2021 motorhome from them.

Bad experience purchasing a 2021 motorhome from them. Represented as in good condition. Traveled from PA, and purchased only to discover undisclosed damage after I got it home. Slide mechanism broken and required a complete removal and rebuild. Folding sofa frame completely destroyed, requiring rebuild. Check engine light on due to the fact that the catalytic converter had been replaced with an incorrect aftermarket part. They said they'd arrange to have it fixed at my local Ford dealer. Two weeks so far and no word. We'll see. Arriving around 5:30PM, they refused to honor my certified check, and wanted to make me stay the night so they could verify in the morning, since the bank was closed. Fortunately was able to call my bank manager at home after hours and get the check verified. Bless her heart for accommodating them. They invoiced $4,247 for PA sales tax, the entire amount of which I paid with the certified check. Then they said they couldn't collect PA sales tax and said they would refund the tax paid by sending me a check, and I could pay it locally. Two weeks later I get the title and other documents in the mail, with an invoice showing no tax was paid, and no mention of the total I paid, or a refund due. I called them, and they say they're going to send out a check. We'll see. When we finally got the paperwork done and got ready to depart, discovered the service department set the tire pressure at 50psi instead of 80 psi, and the tire pressure alarms were going off. Unfortunately, the service dept had gone home, and we couldn't get the air we needed. A passing tow truck driver got us enough to get me to a truck stop where I could get them filled properly. On a positive note, Jayden, my salesperson was helpful in picking us up at the airport, and stayed till past 9pm trying to help us with the tire fill fiasco. His ability to help was limited by a service department that is "at odds" with the sales department, and who was unwilling to help him find the switch for turning on the shop's air compressor, which had been shut down for the night. Was disappointed that either he didn't know about the damaged slide and sofa, or didn't tell us about it. We'll see if they make it right. I texted Jayden with pictures, but received no reply as of yet. The service department gets a thumbs down for not standing behind their salespeople as well as for not inflating the tires correctly to 80 psi as is clearly stated on the sidewall of the tire. No way I should have had to worry about tire pressure when purchasing a nearly new 70K vehicle from a FORD dealer!!! That's less competence than most private parties have! The finance department gets a thumbs down for not exercising trust with my cashiers check, and delaying the transaction. Experiencing a case of fraud from one individual doesn't mean most individuals are fraudulent. And a second thumbs down for not promptly refunding my 4K of sales taxes after mistakenly invoicing me for them. Hopefully they make it right.
