    I purchased a 2006 Dodge Durango 3 months later I need a new engine. The coolant light came on 1 day and I added coolant and then a few days later it... came on again so I dropped it off at a mechanic. He told me that it looks like someone did some work on it and may have damaged something on the front of the engine and resulted in a coolant leak. It has an external and internal leak, and the engine needs to be replaced. I called the dealer and they said there is nothing they can do. NOTHING. They said the paperwork says 30 days for that mileage and why would they want a car with a bad engine. I paid a lot for a car that didn't last 3 months and not a single olive branch from the dealer.

    While it is regrettable that you have had issues with your vehicle, this posting has a slightly different portrayal from the conversation that we orig...inally had. You stated that the coolant light came on, you added coolant, and that the second time it happened the vehicle over-heated and started running rough. That is when you brought it to your mechanic. While I have not inspected the vehicle, I am aware that there were no issues for the 3,200 miles that you drove the vehicle in the three months following your purchase, until this point; the over-heat condition would explain internal engine damage on a vehicle that ran fine for three months, had no check engine light at any time, and passed state inspection as well as emissions. It is not logical that a vehicle would run fine one day, and need a motor replacement the next without some extreme condition. Vehicle warranties are governed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and are in place to protect the consumer. Had this issue arisen during the warranty period, we would happily abide by the laws set forth. Please understand that these are used vehicles. It is not feasible to warranty them for an undisclosed period of time. It sounds as if negligence on your part caused a small problem to result in a much larger one, if that is the case. As far as the claim of repairs and damage to the front of the engine causing a coolant leak, we did not perform any such type of repairs at our facility on this vehicle. It is possible that there were repair attempts prior to our acquisition of the vehicle. For those, I cannot be liable. I am available if you would like to discuss this further.

    I found them on Cars.com and took a ride to check them out. Mike was fantastic to deal with and let me take several cars for test rides. He even stayed... 45 minutes past closing time so I could decide on my purchase with no pressure. The buying process was quick, easy and painless. Picked up the car the following Saturday from Bob, who was also fantastic to deal with. I was amazed how meticulously Bob went through the vehicle before I came to pick it up. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone I know who needs a vehicle. I look forward to doing more business with them in the future.

    We went on a Saturday and Mike was awesome. He was zero pressure, but answered every question and let us test drive a few vehicles. He stayed late that... day to answer all my questions about the loan and buying process. During the week Tami answered all of my questions about the loan and loan process over email. The next Saturday Bob talked me through signing all the paperwork and explained in detail all the work he had done to the car. We were very impressed with all the staff. Everyone was professional and answered all of our questions. Great people and they know their stuff. And the car is wonderful! I love it!

    My experience with Quality Auto Sales was great. While viewing the inventory the salesperson was very professional, informative and pressure free. Putting... me in a car for affordable price and the right fit for my lifestyle. The loan process with Tami was easy she helped me get a good rate,a good term with affordable monthly payment.     This is the worst dealership ive ever been too i bought a car back a couple years ago brought it to a shop near bu that they recommended said was just... a few minor things wasnt a big deal car was cheap so was g bad ended up needing almost 5000 worth of work. Was driving by couple days ago saw a truck that interest me and said screw it ill test drive it was a nice truck and was told by bob i could take it where i needed too and then called back to make an appointment to come pick up the truck and bring it she said i couldnt take it out of 10 miles after bob told me it was not a problem. Everyone is telling me different things. You think there prices are cheaper but you pay for what you get its whole sale prices so they do not do any work to the car so if the motor and trans go after 30 says you are out of luck. All they want is your money. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Brian, Please let me apologize for any confusion pertaining to our company policies. While we do encourage independent mechanical inspections, esp...ecially if you are entertaining the wholesale pricing; there are certain limitations that our dealer plate insurance policy implements and which we adhere to. We cannot allow an individual holding only a junior operator's license to test drive a vehicle without a parent or legal guardian present. There is also limitations of distance for test drives by a non-dealership employee. Your mechanic was located 30 miles away. Under optimal traffic conditions that's approximately 45 minutes from our location. We have a limited number of plates available at any given time. For you to be out on a test drive for the 2 hours it would most likely take for commute time, and allowing for performance of the inspection, it was not feasible to accommodate your request. Our policy has been the same for the past 20 years. It has never been an issue up until now. We do have an acknowledgement disclaimer which outlines these restrictions and guidelines, which we have customers read and sign at the time of deposit. Due to the fact that you were not ready to leave a deposit the day you were in with your parents, we never got that far. Hopefully you can appreciate why we were unable to allow a $15,000 truck to leave our lot for that period of time under the given circumstances. As a long-time established business, we are continually striving to meet the needs and expectations of our valued customers. We will examined our mechanical inspection policy and work with our insurance carrier to see if we can amend the guidelines they set forth to better accommodate our customers in the future. I am truly sorry for the misunderstanding that you experienced.
