Mike, As you can see based on our ratings we are highly rated by Audi and the general public. David never lied or mislead you in any way about the all new A5 redesigned vehicle. The A5 was as stated redesigned for 2025 ... there are no 2026 models made or about to be at this point. The 2026 which will be available later this year will be the same exact vehicle you purchased. I can only assume you heard David explain that it was a new design and assumed that meant 2026. As for the car being in the shop, I looked into it and apparently it needed a software update from Audi. I wish you the best with your new A5 and hopefully I cleared up any misunderstanding. I can't really speak to everyone else's experience, only my own so I don't know if history is relevant here. Myself and my parents distinctly remember hearing my Dad ask "Is this the 2026 model?" and hearing back "Yes." If the answer was "The 2026 models aren't available" then that would be totally different. And it's also interesting to hear you say the 2026 models are the exact same, where even a cursory glance shows there are differences between model years, albeit minor. Dashcam, updated software, parking automation, ergonomic changes. Certainly not flagship features, but ones I would have gladly waited for. It really sounds like you wanted to move the 2025 inventory as quickly as possible, and you're more than happy to bend the truth to help get it done. It's also interesting that the software update keeps coming up when the issue was just the low voltage in the battery, and no software update was done on the car. Ultimately, I'll just have to look elsewhere for service on this car, and if this is what a highly rated Audi dealer looks like, I may have to re-evaluate purchasing Volkswagen vehicles again. Part of the reason why I like luxury brands like Audi is that I didn't have to worry about this kind of stuff, but apparently that's just not the case.
