So I'm on my way to the credit union to get the money for a truck at another car lot and I decide to stop at knox drives one more time before I buy. Beginning... to think that was a big mistake. They have an 09 with 75000 miles on it. I decide to buy this truck instead so I take for a drive with no issues. We start doing the paperwork and I decide to go get some cash to pay down on it and the check engine light comes on. I get back to the dealer and they hook it up and tell me it's an 02 sensor. I didn't no but diesel doesn't have 02 sensors. We proceed with the paperwork and the saleman-possible owner ask me if I want a warranty and I say no.hr then gives me an example of a truck they sold and the turbo went out and thank God the guy bought the warranty. I buy the truck and the warranty on Friday and pull my boat Saturday and a hose blows off the turbo. I fix that myself and take it back Monday to get some paint done and check engine light fixed. Go pick it up paint is good but the check engine light is still on. Take it back the next monday for that and they have had the truck for another week and I still don't have it to use after paying 26000 for it. The mechanic is dealing with the warranty and the way he talks I'm going to be without the truck for a couple of more weeks. I don't buy from small car lots and NEVER will again. They are working with me on it but I bought the truck because I needed it and it looks like I'm going to not only pay 10000 down unit but will get to make at least the first payment on it before I ever put it to use.
They were pretty great, I worked with Matthew Smith. At first I got a Chevy Traverse, which broke down on me on the interstate. But they came and got it... and replaced what was wrong, but I still decided I wanted to trade for another vehicle. It was a bit of a hassle at first but Matt really helped me out and reached my monthly payment limit for me. So I’m very appreciative of him!
great people, no pressure in buying very helpful , one of the best easiest car buying experience ever if you wanting a good vehicle at a great price this... is the place to go thanks again we are very pleased with our purchase
Me and my fiancé have bought two great looking/running vehicles from Knox Drives and we couldn’t be more satisfied with our purchases! Matthew did great... working with us!
Very good buying experience! Most of paperwork done online before hand. Had trouble with my 08 GMC Acadia and Justin helped with the repairs even though... it had been months since I purchased the car! His mechanic done a good job but couldn't quite fix everything in the front end? But I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Knox Drives!!
Purchased a Ford F-150 at Knox Drives 6 months ago. The guys there were easy to work with and sold me the truck at a fair price. Best of all, I have had... zero problems with the vehicle! Will go back to this dealer again!
After searching high and low for a great truck for a reasonable price, I found a 2008 GMC Sierra Denali at this place called Know Drives. It had 146k... miles, but was in really great shape. The dealers at Knox Drives were very laid back and totally made the buying experience wonderful. It was well worth the 3.5hour drive from Atlanta and I strongly suggest that anyone searching for the best vehicle for the best cost from the coolest sales people, please take a trip to Knox Drive in Knoxville, TN before your final purchase choice. Ask for Justin, he's very accessible and easy to work with. The financing process was equally high ranking (SouthEast Credit Union) ! I hope this review helps ! I'm not the type to leave feedback, but this experience is worth sharing.
I recently purchased a vehicle from Knox Drives and I could not have been more pleased. They were very polite and helpful through the test drive process.... They were great to work with on my trade in. Last but not least, the purchasing process was painless. My 8 year old and I had traveled up to look at the vehicle and the staff worked hard to streamline the paperwork and helped to keep my son entertained. This was easily the best vehicle purchase scenario that I have ever been a part of.
Drove from Nashville to Knoxville to view a 2010 Tacoma. This dealer lied about condition of vehicle 1. Vehicle has extensive rust - including the chassis... 2. Vehicle reeked of smoke (I specifically asked before we went). 3. Overall condition - tired. It was not "clean" as reported. DO NOT GO THERE
Told me vehicle in excellent condition. Failed to mention a smoker owned it and it smelled inside. Cigarette burns inside. Failed to mention that the... power door lock does not work. Failed to mention that there was a light on the dash. They did mention all of this after i was 400 miles into the 500 mile trip there.
