Easy, friendly, knowledgeable

Ordered a tesla here and it was easy to configure the car I wanted. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and easygoing unlike high pressure dealerships. Great experience and I love my car now!

Worst car buying experience. See details for why!

I ordered a demo vehicle VIN 5YJ3E1EB3MF013136. I arrived at the Paramus NJ dealer to pick it up last week (Set 23, 2021). It had SIX scratches, the back window was scratched, and the hubcap was damaged (see pics). An employee named Raymond said, and I quote, "that's just normal wear and tear for a demo"! How stupid do the people working at this location think customers are? I refused to take the car. I talked to another higher up at Paramus named Lewis, who said they would buff out the scratches and fix the hubcap, but the window would need to be fixed. He promised this by today (Sept 30, 2021), the day I was rescheduled to pick it up after the initial debacle. I asked that Lweis take a picture of the fixes before I drive 2 hours to pick it up. He outright refused! Thankfully I called him before driving out to get what I hoped would be a repaired demo car (minus the cratched window). Thankfully I did. Lweis told me NOTHING was fixed! He NEVER called in advance to tell me this or give me any heads up. If I didn't proactively call him, I would have driven another 2 hours one-way, only to find that none of the promised work had been done. Telsa, as a company, should be embarrassed by the Paramus NJ dealership. Totally unprofessional, arrogant employees with an attitude of "So what if you are not satisfied. Our cars are in too much demand to care about any individual customer" attitude. Disgraceful. Lewis lied, never followed up to let me know nothing was fixed, and his arrogant attitude only made it worse. As of writing this, the car I was going to buy is now back on Tesla's website as an existing car to purchase, with no disclaimer whatsoever about the extensive damage. It was the worst (attempted) car buying experience I've ever had. Bar none.

Great service, excellent car

The best people, excellent service, use the dealer for over 4 years and nothing but praise for the service and the brand. Several times my car was serviced without any problem, quick, courteous, one time even without an appointment, just dropped in and they took care of the tire pressure, no charge. Highly recomended!

tesla roadster, failure to repair dealer recall

failure to repair dealer recall which led to collision that totalled my car, they are incompetant , they ignored my request to address the warning light that indicated ther was a problem indicated in NHTSA vehicle safety recall(#09v178000)
