If I could leave 0 stars I would. The customer service at this Mazda is absolutely horrendous. They are kind to you while you are there in person purchasing the vehicle, but as soon as you leave you will never be able to reach them again. My partner and I purchased our Mazda from here in late august, and filled out the paper work for them to submit our license plate to the financing party etc. so we could get our license mailed to us in GA. When our first temp tag expired, we spent an entire week trying to contact Brickell Mazda for a new temp tag so that we could actually DRIVE our vehicle, and we kept getting passed around from person to person with no answers and no resolutions. We spoke to Lillabeth, who referred us to Marina, who never responded, so we called again and were referred to a manager who didn't get back to us either. We attempted to call and get answers 13 TIMES. I took us calling Mazda corporate and filing a case with them to get ahold of ANYONE and actually get answers and a new temp tag. We were unable to drive our new vehicle for a WEEK. Now, our second temp plate is expiring and we still cannot get ahold of anyone and every excuse in the book is being used any time we make contact. Also, we were informed that you cannot get more then two temp tags in the state of Florida, so now that we are unable to drive our vehicle for a second period of time. We will be filing formal complaints with Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV), Georgia Department of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Division, and Florida Attorney General’s Office. We are extremely disappointed with Brickell Mazda.

I'm in the middle of trying to purchase a used vehicle out of state. To say that this process is challenging is an understatement. Communication with sales, finance, and management is only a result of my continued persistence. It's been two weeks so far and there has been little movement on the process. In short, I feel forgotten...

: “Highway Robbery in a Suit — A Warning About Brickell Motors” There is no greater stupidity than willful ignorance—seeing the deception, feeling the consequences, and still pretending it’s all normal. That’s exactly what Brickell Motors preys on: customers who don’t question the fine print. Let me be crystal clear: this dealership is engaging in deceptive, unethical, and potentially illegal practices, hiding behind a polished showroom full of six-figure vehicles to justify predatory fees. They push charges that have no legal basis, then falsely claim they are mandated by Florida law — a blatant lie. Here’s what I was quoted for a $38,000 vehicle: • PermaPlate (paint protection for your license plate?) – $799 • BLM Certification (meaningless internal prep fee) – $1,895 • Government fees – $1,030 (not itemized, suspiciously inflated) • Doc/Processing fee – $1,145 • Sales tax – $1,709 (the only legitimate fee) Grand total? Nearly $45,000 for a $38,000 car. That’s a $7,000 markup for nothing of value. When I challenged these fees, I was told, arrogantly, “That’s how high-end dealers operate.” Sorry, but deception is not a luxury feature. The young salesman, Harvey, had the nerve to boast that “plenty of stupid people don’t even check the final numbers and still buy.” He even tried to play the hero by offering a $500 discount—like it was some grand favor. Newsflash: your entire fee structure is a scam. From sales to management, the culture at Brickell Motors reeks of arrogance, indifference, and a complete lack of professionalism. They are not there to understand your needs or work with integrity. They are there to extract every dollar they can from unsuspecting buyers. Let me tell you how this ended: I bought the exact same car from an authorized, reputable dealer, with zero junk fees and a two-year certified warranty included—the way it should be. Final advice: Don’t be one of the “stupid” customers they brag about. Do your homework. Call their bluff. Walk away. And above all, don’t feed the wolves running this showroom.

Deceptive Pricing and Unprofessional Treatment at Mazda Brickell I recently found a Mazda CX-30 listed for $22,519 on Carfax and decided to purchase it from Mazda Brickell. I initially spoke with Jennifer, who was very helpful, and I arrived at the dealership on 02/12/25 at 12:45 PM to proceed with the purchase. From the start, I was transparent with both the salesperson and her manager, Ray (who mentioned he previously worked at Toyota), about my uncertainty regarding financing or paying the full amount in cash. After spending over three hours at the dealership, I was in the final stages of signing the paperwork when the salesperson called someone from the financing team to go over the loan terms. At this point, I was told that the dealership would not sell the car at the advertised price if I was paying in cash. Ray, the manager, then insinuated that I was being "cheap" for expecting them to honor the price they themselves had published on Carfax and their website. He stated that unless I financed the vehicle, they would increase the price by over $3,000 to cover expenses the dealership had incurred to "fix the car"—something that was never disclosed before. At this point, it became clear that their goal was not just to sell the car, but to pressure me into financing in order to make more money off the deal. The way Ray and the finance team pushed hard for financing felt incredibly dishonest—almost like a bait-and-switch scam. If they had disclosed this pricing difference upfront, I would have had no issue making an informed decision. Instead, they waited until I was ready to close the deal, wasting my entire afternoon. To make matters worse, Ray's behavior was shockingly unprofessional. After refusing to honor their own advertised price, he sent me home to "re-think" their terms—as if I was the one being unreasonable for expecting transparency. I’m unsure if it’s even legal to charge a different price based on whether a customer finances or pays in cash, but it certainly feels unethical. My experience at Mazda Brickell was frustrating, disappointing, and completely unprofessional. Buyers should be warned: this dealership does not honor its advertised prices and will pressure you into financing, even if you are prepared to pay in full. If you value honesty, transparency, and professional treatment, I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership.

Don’t WASTE YOUR TIME with these SCAM ARTISTS. I am a returning customer (leased a 2022 Mazda CX-30 2 years ago -- that was a whole other nightmare). I received calls and letters recently from this dealership to buy back my car / trade it in for a 2024 Mazda CX-30 at $199/month (see photo). I pay $405/mo for my 2022 Mazda, which feels like a rip off. I made an appointment and went in today. Everyone looks at you like you have ten heads when you walk in–what’s the point of making an appointment? Then they made me wait 30 minutes while they “assessed” my current 2022 Mazda, which is in mint condition and has less than 15k miles. After 30 min, they told me to wait longer–I said I have another appointment, at which time he promptly produced an offer of 7000 DOLLARS DOWN (WHAT? WITH A TRADE IN???) AT 279/Month (see photo). What happened to $199???? I showed him several other websites of Mazda dealers offering $199/month with a $3k to $4k down payment. He shrugged at me. I am a returning customer with a mint condition vehicle, and instead of offering me the $199 deal they sent, they gave me this garbage. Unbelievable. Wasted so much time driving there and back, then making me wait. I will be trading my car in elsewhere just so I don't have to deal with them again. Don’t go there – they will try to scam you and treat their customers like garbage.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We apologize for any frustration you experienced during your visit. It's important to clarify that the advertised deal could not be applied in this situation due to the significant negative equity on your current vehicle, which impacted the overall financing options. We understand this can be disappointing, and we regret that the timing and communication during your appointment didn't meet your expectations. Our goal is to be transparent and provide options that are tailored to individual situations. If you'd like to discuss this further or explore additional solutions, we would be happy to assist. Thank you for being a returning customer, and we hope we can regain your trust in the future. RML

Brickell is a class act. I talked to about 4 other dealerships around the country when shopping for my car. The other dealerships whined and moaned about making a 2nd key -shouldn't this be standard to have 2 keys for a car over 30k? So many other details were handled smoothly and seemed to simply be part of their solid sales policy at Brickell. One dealership offered to send a driver to the airport and told me 'just give him $50' , which was fine and part of buying a new car out of state. Brickell however said just take an Uber and we'll reimburse you. Not a lot of money but just a bunch of little things that added up to a very satisfied customer. Special thanks to Erick and German!! Another minor detail... love all the fresh flowers in the office and cool video screens and art. Employees all seemed very happy as well :)

I don’t know why anybody would give birth or Mazda a five star rating. I just bought a certified preowned vehicle with less than 20,000 miles on it all I know is that since the day after bringing it home I have had nothing but issues and it appears to me that the staff at Brickell Mazda, don’t care and treated me with utter disrespect.

Long story short, this dealership is terrible. Agreed to a deal, required a $5000 deposit to hold the vehicle, the deposit was debited from my account then they sold the vehicle out from under me. I absolutely would give 0 stars if possible. The long version is that I reached out to this dealership from Louisiana for no other reason than that they had a very specific color combination of the new CX-50 that I wanted. Things started off as usual with them making me an offer on Black Friday night. I told them I could manage X down and Y per month which basically required them to cut off a small amount from the initial offering. Then, in relatively good time, she gets back to me and verbally agrees to the offer I asked for. Here is where things go south, they ghost me, give me the run-around for hours before finally getting back to me to tell me that “it's very busy and since you are remote, in-store customers take priority.” Fair enough, she assures me that the deal is mine but will have to send over the papers tomorrow (saturday), but she’ll “handle it first thing in the morning.” Morning comes and goes. Then comes afternoon, then evening, mostly radio silent apart from intermittent text message placations like “we’ll be with you as soon as possible, we’re very busy [frown emoji]." Finally, at the very end of the night a recorded WhatsApp message comes through offering the usual apologies, and you guessed it: "paperwork will come tomorrow" Now it's Sunday. Finally, at like 2PM or so they send over the document and the sales tax is way off based on my local home address. Like 700 dollars off. The finance manager says she can't tell me the figure that's used to calculate my sales tax, it's "just what their system says." This seems fishy, need to talk to sales manager again. I then made repeated attempts to contact them for the rest of Sunday. Towards late afternoon I talked to the sales manager. He says he'll look into it tomorrow [Monday] with the accounting department when he "isn't so busy," and I can also look into it with my DMV to clarify as well. Seems reasonable, so I say ok, "well let's move forward with the deposit to reserve the vehicle". I promptly send over my 5000 dollars. Monday: First thing in the morning, I call the local Tax Department and get a signed document noting my appropriate sales tax percent. I also get a verbal confirmation from my local DMV to verify the number. Send that over to the dealership. Then hear nothing for the rest of the day, despite multiple attempts to contact them. Tuesday: radio silence. Multiple calls to sales person, all ignored. Calls to sales department, transferred to manager, to voicemail. Completely ghosted until about 1400. I get on a video call to have my sales person tell me the vehicle was sold because we ”couldn't close the deal"! To her credit, she at least tried to act like she was upset about the “mistake.” Then quickly transitions trying to sell me on another similar vehicle. I swear, it looked like she's trying not to laugh while she says that it costs $700 more (coincidence, surely??). Basically I say just refund the deposit and we'll part ways. Before you do business with this place, think about the following. If this company allows behavior like this to occur, it's either promoted from the top down as part of the culture, or a total failure of management. Then ask yourself, do you want to do business with either? Save yourself the headache: just don't

THIS IS PROBABLY NOT ONLY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAD WITH A DEALERSHIP BUT THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES I HAD WITH ANY BUSINESS, WHATSOEVER!!! I came into Brickell Mazda a few weeks ago to buy out my lease from Mazda and get a car loan. Here's a few examples of my interactions with Brickell Mazda and why I think you should avoid working with this location at all costs. ❌ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗸𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁. I think her name was Vivian, managed to misspell my name multiple times. I pointed that out to her and I said that I can't sign it as accurate because you've made multiple mistakes in my name. She said that, I shouldn't have worry about it and that they'll be able to figure this out. ❌ 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗴𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗣𝗥 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 The associate brought me to the office of their loan or finance manager. Her name is Fanny. Fanny, right off the bat started giving me options, not for the loan, but options for warranties and all the different ways that I can add additional warranties and insurance on top of my loan without even discussing the terms of the loan, down payment or how much am I looking to pay in my APR. When I asked her about APR, I found out that she quoted me almost two percentage points higher than the market. When I asked her about why that is the case. She told me that that's just what her system is telling her. When I brought up the fact that if you do a quick Google search for your APR, you can find rates that are significantly lower than what she quoted me. She said that that's the only one that they have available, but I asked her if she can look for other options to see if maybe there's something else. She finally relented and started looking for other options, she did bring up the fact that in fact, yes, they have another option available from Bank of America, which was almost two percentage points cheaper than what's your regional quota. To me, this was shocking because she neither brought that up in the beginning of the conversation, nor would she be willing to go into that research when I asked her and yet this rate was available all along so to me that just says that they were trying to upcharge me on a rate that was excessively high without giving me any options. ❌𝗡𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗻, 𝗻𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. ❌𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁, 𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲, 𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗻𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀𝗼𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿. This is perhaps not only the worst experience I have working with a dealership, but any business whatsoever. Brickell Mazda clearly does not care about its customers, does not try to provide high quality of service and runs a shady operation that I advise others against working with in the future. Oh, and PS, when I was leaving the office of their loan officer, there was a dead lizard 🦎 on the ground of their office. When I pointed it out to her, she didn't seem to mind at all and said that that's normal.

Sneaky and deceiving, will send you "Bait" price over the internet, waste your time with meaningless talk and then at the last minute will send you a contract price with a significantly increased price. Do not waste your time
