Very poor service finding ongoing and new problems

Have 2016 Sedona which makes a loud noise when the outside temp is low. Car has been in at least 10 times. I have been tod they cannot hear any noise. I asked, did you drive it around the lot and they say the tech just drove it. It is now 3 PM and no longer cold outside. I left the car over night so they could drive it in the AM. So far they have replaced the driver side strut at my expense, rebuilt the PS, Checked out oil pumps and replace the tranny under warranty. The noise is still there. I have suggested motor mounts as I got the same noise from my Honda when the mounts went bad. But was told that the mounts could not cause that noise. 11/30/2023 my check engine light came on. I took it to my dealer as the owner's Manual suggest and was told I could bring it in but it would be at least a week before they could look at it. I dropped car off 12/1 and as of today no one has called to tell me what the CODES are saying. This could be as simple as a bad gas cap, but the car is just sitting in the lot waiting to be repaired. The car rental fees are killing me as I am on a fixed income. I feel that the techs do not know how to trouble shoot the problems and as a result I say don't expect good service hers. Any person at the dealer ship could read the codes. It does not take a technician to do this. And don't try to talk to the owner as he is well shielded. The new tranny works the same as the old one and did not solve the problem. It just wasted my time. And every time OI come in someone tries to sell me a new car. I tell them if they can't repair the car I have now. I have no intention of buying another from them. This car was our retirement car, with no plans to buy another going forward. Do to poor service this has not worked out as planned

Unbelievable

Had to take the Kia in to get the anti theft stuff added on. They wouldn't allow me a loaner car and said I could not drop it off the day before. Had to give up going to work (therefore, I didn't get paid that day!) and waiting in their waiting room half a day because they wouldn't help me get to work and said I had to bring the car in in person and wait. My repair was suppose to only take 30 to 90 minutes but I had to wait about twice that long. This group is very young and immature and they have a lot to learn about helping customers. Like calling the customer by the correct name. Like cleaning up the car after it is repaired. Like not telling the person they need a 5-star review when they give 0 star service.

traded off kia due to service experience

dealership is crammed into a lot about 2acres maybe. when i went to get a tire replaced they didn't call me when it arrived from order i had to call to find out if the tire was there, took several days. when i had the flat i was only 1/2 mile from dealer and since the roadside assistance number wasn't working i called the dealership. they didn't offer to check to see why the roadside assistance wasn't working they just said it wasn't their problem and just call a tow truck. i told them i was having vibration at stearing wheel but no offer to look at it. 3yr old sedonna 16k miles. after they replaced the tire i went right to ford to trade before something serious went wrong with the vehicle. the appear to be not well staffed but they do keep the restrooms clean.

Not a fan for service department. After reading pa

Though I love my K5, I have now had maintenance services 5 times and I have NEVER had 1 single okay experience. My wait time always over 2 hours even with appointments and drove 30 miles to find out my fluids were not all refilled

Not good

Don’t recommend for service not check your car after service is empty. After service of my car engine oil got drained from engine in 2 days of service. Didn’t take any step after it.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARS TO THIS DEALERSHIP

Single most TERRIBLE experience with a dealership's service department I have ever had. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARS TO THIS DEALERSHIP. Not only will they take forever to fix your car, despite appointments made in advance, but they will do a shoddy job and then not take responsibility for damages incurred. They fixed my right front axle on my car in October/Nov of 2022 and within 32 days it fell off my car. I am very lucky this happened when stopped at train tracks rather than on the highway. There is zero accountability with this service department and the managers truly do not care. I was so glad to be done with this department because getting my car fixed in the first place was like pulling teeth. I should have known I would continue to have problems with them. They were notified the day the incident occurred and did not send an inspector, and are now blaming me for the repair shop's lack of communication and the fact that I authorized repairs. I should have read other reviews before trusting this dealership with my car - I would have taken it literally anywhere else. I recommend you learn from my mistake and avoid this service department like the plague. The ONE STAR for this review is for the service coordinators/desk workers at University Kia, as they are the only positive interactions I have had with the service department.

Bad experience. Service department rude.

Bought car. Called to get serviced. Booked for 2 weeks just to get oil change. Walked in service department. Know cars in Bay. Employees. Walking around. Doing absolutely nothing. Service advisor rude. I do not recommend this dealer.
