Rarely if ever do I write an on-line review, but a few

Rarely if ever do I write an on-line review, but a few weeks ago I encountered a company that deserves much praise, namely Newbold BMW of O’Fallon, IL, near St. Louis. For some time, I had been in the market for a late model Mazda MX-5 (or Miata), and after contacting several dealerships, I found that Newbold had one in my price range. My first contact with Newbold was on line, and I asked for an “out-the-door” price for the car. Almost immediately I received a reply from salesman Joseph Krick which was both responsive to my query as well as honest. By honest, I mean there were no “add-ons” that raised the price beyond the advertised price, which is unfortunately the practice of several dealers I spoke to. Mr. Krick’s e-mail was polite and not at all pushy, Perhaps a week later, I contacted Mr. Krick with my “asks,” namely (1) to deliver the car to my house (about two hours north of them), (2) to have the car inspected (at my cost, of course), and (3) to take the price down a little. Again, to my surprise, Mr. Krick answered ALL my “asks” to my complete satisfaction. The car passed inspection with nothing noted as problematic, and when we agreed on a price, Mr. Krick personally had the car delivered to my home by a dealership detail man. Another happy surprise was seeing that Mr. Krick had not just ordered but even installed my new license plates on the car. Mr. Krick told me he started out in car sales with Rolls Royce, and he certainly made me feel like royalty even with my relatively small purchase. This is a commendation both to Mr. Krick as a human being and professional, and also to Newbold for keeping him on staff. If I ever go looking again for a car, I will certainly contact Mr. Krick and Newbold before I make a purchase. Their honesty, sense of fair play, and willingness to accommodate is way beyond the norm and, in my mind, sets them apart. Accordingly, I take this opportunity to publicly thank them and to commend them to anyone in the market.

Dealership is great. The car sucked. Never had so...

Dealership is great. The car sucked. Never had so many problems with a car before (including used ones). The steering was a problem from day one. All the unwanted and useless accessories that made driving more difficult. Was not told that I bought a sports car. Bought a new 2021 330i. Biggest mistake I ever made (car wise). Will never own another BMW. Kept it for only 30 days. Couldn't take is any longer. Was very very lucky to be able to get my old car back. Which is far far superior to the BMW.

After purchasing my first BMW, I met with Carlos to learn about all the technology. He provided the best explanation of the features. After driving it about a month, I needed to figure out a few more things and met with Carlos again. His demeanor is very calm and relaxed. He is perfectly suited for giving instruction/training. He really seems to know the cars inside and out! Carlos also helped me with floor matt considerations and window tinting.

I had never really considered buying a BMW, until I drove one and wow, there is a difference! Joe Krick was a no pressure salesman and easy to deal. He listened to what I wanted in financing terms and worked to make it happen. I'm a first time BMW owner and love my car!

Braden came in on his day off to show me the vehicle. All the staff was laid back and helpful. Braden made me an expresso and we discussed the issues. They even made sure the vehicle I drove it was safe until I could return to pick it up. While this service level of service may be standard here, I had a much less positive experience a few months back at another dealership in the St. Louis area that I will not throw under the bus. The car I purchased was exactly as it had been described and they got me a fantastic interest rate. Thanks Eric S

Joe Krick performed exceptionally well. No pressure sales, easy to deal with and made the buying experience enjoyable. He kept us informed along the process (had to order a vehicle) and there were no surprises at the end. All-in-all a great experience.
