I am leasing this vehicle for a time period as an employee of BYU and the opportunity of a Chevy electric car was presented to me. I have enjoyed this Chevy Bolt as my first ever electric car and the experience of power in an electric vehicle exceeded my expectations.

Doug Smith Auto gets an A in my book
Our experience at Doug Smith auto in Spanish Fork was excellent. Hunter was our salesman and was very friendly and helpful throughout the sales process. Finance was a dream compared to usual. Our experience in the past have been that finance took forever and that was not the case here. It was dealt with in such a timely manner while still being extremely thorough. Overall the process was great and we ended up with a beautiful car at a great price. I highly recommend this dealership!!!

No pressure sales at it's best
My wife and I were looking for a used car, lease return, 1 year old. We'd been to a few dealerships and gotten the usual, buy here, buy now pressure, don't leave the lot even if it's not quite the vehicle you want. We were tired of it, and drove by Doug Smith in Spanish Fork. We didn't have time for a test drive, but looked at a couple vehicles we were interested in. We took the business card and left. Afterward I (not the sales people) initiated the contact via email to ask a few more questions. The answers were straight forward and honest. Thought about it some more and finally decided to go back and check it out further. Breanna and Reid were great to work with, patient with our questions and concerns. An honest deal was struck and we now own a vehicle we love. I highly recommend the experience I had at Doug Smith Chevrolet in Spanish Fork and Breanna and the sales team there to others looking to purchase a vehicle.

Doug Smith is a great dealership!
My husband and I were in the market for a new car and we were helped by Marcos who was knowledgeable, polite, personable, and patient. He treated us like family and if you are in the market for a new car (or a new friend) look him up! I'm so impressed at how we were taken care of!

VERY dissatisfied customer
Doug Smith is worst dealer I have encountered in fifty years of purchasing vehicles. Financial person was: untruthful, dishonest, devious, coersive, etc. Their goal was to overcharge and under deliver every chance they got. Customer satisfaction score would be minus fifty. Like the shady ‘used car dealer’ in old B movies. Once a puchase agreement was finally signed, it took Doug Smith 3 weeks, THREE WEEKS!!!, to deliver car to me, an easy ten hour drive. Ship tomorrow, ship tomorrow was all i heard for way too many days. Then i heard it had shipped, be in my driveway in two days, great! Two days later car still on their lot, shipper called me to let me know he was picking it up in another few days!! Other out of state dealers had delivered in 3-4 days from greater distance. So another zero score. Added bonus was that we had agreed they would ship for certain price, then they reniged and i ended up paying $170 extra. Nice huh? Finally, icing on a bad cake, instead of sending document for title n registration to me, as other out of state dealers had done, they wanted to send to state mvd but who knows where?? This would have been a nightmare for me to deal with to get car registered. Out of state Car n documents must be together for vehicle vin n mileage verification. After MUCH negotiation, they agreed to send to an mvd office near me. Mvd office confirmed that if docs had gone somewhere else, big problem for me. Another zero. So right car, good price, terrible customer treatment. Avoid if possible, especially if out of state.

Absolutely love Doug Smith in spansish Fork they do everything. I was drove to work, I then was picked up, they are honest on repairs and always make sure any warranties of mine will cover repairs.

This is the best car buying experience ever. I have bought many, many cars over the years and each time, I came away feeling like I got taken advantage of. I feel that Doug Smith Auto does have the best prices around. And from experience when we have used their repair shop, they are honest.

Sharks
Do not send your 21 year old in there to buy their first car. They will pressure them and lie to them. My son said he didn't want to buy and they said he had to because the money was sent in from the bank already and the paperwork was done, so he had no choice. They put him into a 2016 car and traded in his old truck and he is in debt more for what he was before. They saw a newby and they went for the jugular. I called--my PTSD kicked in--I was over the top rude and they were smug. Watch out for Zac and Marcos.

Took my 2015 Duramax in for a routine maintenance service. The technician that worked on my truck changed the oil and oil filter and topped of my diesel exhaust fluid. When I got home I noticed that my oil filter was leaking, probably due to the excessive torque in which the filter was tightened to. Also, DEF was spilled all over under the hood and down the side of my front fender with no effort to clean it up. I called to complain and was put on hold for 15 minutes waiting for my service advisory to pick up. Not sure I'll ever take my truck in for service here again.
