I was pleased with the service I received. The service video allowed me to see the underside of the vehicle and under the hood. This allowed me to see the things that are being checked by the technician assigned. Knowing if any issues exist early is key to vehicle life.

2002 TBird Back on the Road
Had an overheating issue with my 2002 Tbird. After several unsuccessful attempts at diagnosis at a AAA Service Center, I took the car to Leith Ford. Problem was a bad hydraulic cooling pump that is pretty common on 2002 Tbirds. Unfortunately, the part is no longer available. Leith parts department made several attempts to locate the part, but was not successful. John, my service advisor, told me that Leith would be glad to replace the part if I could locate one. This was quite impressive because most service centers won't replace parts that they don't provide. After a lengthy internet search and communications with a number of vintage Tbird message boards, I was able to locate Advantage Steering. The are apparently the only supplier of rebuilt hydraulic fan pumps for 2002 Tbirds in the US. Bottom line, I ordered the pump, Leith installed it, and by Bird is back on the road. This entire ordeal took about six weeks to resolve, but Leith Ford was great during the entire process. John, AJ and Amber were wonderful in keeping me informed of the status of the parts search at all times so I didn't have to wonder what was going on. When I did have to call the service department, the phone was always answered by a human (I hate it when company's rely on answering machines to respond to customers). If a particular representative was not available at the time of my call, I always received a prompt return call. To summarize Leith Ford service exceeded my expectations and provided outstanding customer service in solving a difficult problem.

Talked with the service and parts department separately, was able to schedule the work quickly and easily. The replacement windshield was damaged in transit and the technicians caught it before installing, saving me the headache of dealing with shoddy work. I would recommend this department to others.
