LaPorshia went to the extreme to get a new engine for our Kia Soul and have us on the road in record time to get my wife back to Illinois for her pre-surgery doctor appointment!!

I visited on a Saturday morning believing I had a scheduled appointment, though it had never been confirmed. Bradley Stephens, the Service Manager, kindly assured me that this was not an issue. I anticipated a lengthy wait, but was pleasantly surprised — the entire visit took just over an hour and a half. From purchasing my vehicle to having it serviced, my experiences at Clay Cooley Kia in Irving have been consistently excellent. I truly appreciate the level of care and attention this business extends to its customers.

I had a very disappointing experience at Clay Cooley Kia in Irving. From the start, the level of professionalism was extremely poor. Both the salesperson and the sales manager came across as unknowledgeable and, frankly, arrogant. When we asked reasonable questions—like requesting a Carfax report and details about the vehicle’s service history—they seemed visibly annoyed, almost as if our questions were an inconvenience. The condition of the vehicle itself was unacceptable. It had clearly not been properly detailed before our visit. Within moments of starting the car, a tire pressure warning light came on before we even left the lot. As we looked more closely, we discovered multiple issues that raised serious concerns. There appeared to be a coolant leak at some point, but no one could clearly explain whether it had been repaired or what the situation was. When we tried to get answers, we were told to speak with the service department, as the sales team was “just there to sell cars.” There were also several visible defects: missing push pins on the grille, loose wiring sitting on top of the battery, and a backup camera that was improperly installed and tangled near the spare tire. Inside, the microphone for the hands-free system was awkwardly wrapped around the sun visor, and the interior overall was dirty. The rear liftgate was also missing weather stripping. To make matters worse, the vehicle felt significantly overpriced. While they emphasized the relatively low mileage (54,000 miles) and an aftermarket screen, the overall condition and driving experience did not justify the $19,000 price tag. Based on its condition, it felt closer to a $14,000 vehicle at best. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this dealership based on the lack of professionalism, poor vehicle condition, and unwillingness to provide clear and helpful information.
