We hadn't bought a new car for about seven years so we were very careful and kind of nervous about such a big expenditure. Bill K was knowledgeable, friendly, and made us comfortable right from the start. All the people we met at Van Horn just reinforced our trust in the Dealership and convinced us this was the right group to work with. There were no surprises at the closing which went quick and smooth. They even found us financing at an interest rate half a point less than we thought possible. We are pleased that we chose to buy a new car from Van Horn Oconomowoc and will have our cars' servicing done there as well.

Found this dealership via the internet. Honest and forth right in all my dealing with them. Robert Reid and Brad Knight were excellent and provided constant feedback throughout the process. Bought from my home in El Paso, TX and am having the vehicle shipped here. Never been to WI but will first look to this dealer for future purchases in the very near future. Seamless buying process and professionally, honest information, plus they are Pentagon FCU, Navy FCU, and USAA buying service approved. Great job Robert!!

We found an Explorer on the internet at what we thought was a good price at Van Horn Ford. Turns out it was too good. The salesman informed me after we test drove it that the vehicle was part of a "manufacturer's buy back program". We feel this was something that should have been part of the description on the website as it was not. It was our opinion that this was done to draw in potential clients. Thankfully for whatever reason they did disclose this information... along with handing us SIX pages of known issues from the previous owner that were supposed to be fixed. Very sketchy to say the least. During the test drive I noticed that the drivers seat would not fully go up and down along with the steering wheel not telescoping in and out. I informed the salesman of this. Here's the strange part. The dealership was in the process of selling this vehicle even before we arrived. We only hope that they pointed out the issues to those folks..... I doubt it. Oh yeah... one more thing.... they did offer to sell us an extended warranty... for $3000!!! Very disappointing experience and a waste of three hours (including drive time to and from dealership). The whole goal of these places is to draw you out to the dealership. After we said no thanks to this vehicle they of course have a couple others they'd love to sell you on.... for $4000 more.
