Van Horn Ford of Oconomowoc

Bought a used Explorer, and my 3rd purchase from Van Horn over the last 8 years. What you have to be aware of with this dealership is their purchasing of buybacks. Knowing that going in (if you're lucky enough), the sales rep was very open about this particular vehicle, showed me the history, which to me was extremely minor (mostly trim clip issues). Either way, they'll stand behind what you purchase. The only thing I can say that was an overall unpleasant experience was the 4 hours from start to finish, which is over 2X's the excruciating time and pain of listening to a 90 minute time share presentation. I wish the industry would do something about that & am certain its not just exclusive to Van Horn dealerships.

I began my vehicle search long before ending up at Van Horn. Other dealerships got me in the door with advertised prices that I liked, but sent me out the door with excuses of why they couldn't provide the vehicle at the price I came in looking for. I found vehicle at Van Horn that I liked, and when I called about it my experience was very positive. Knowing I had over an hour drive to get up there, I didn't want a bait and switch on the truck I wanted, so before leaving town, I called again and they even text me a picture of the vehicle and said they would have it out ready for me when I arrived. These guys gave me what I was looking for with no hassle, no pressure, and provided a genuinely great experience. In response to other reviews left: my vehicle was also part of Ford's buyback program. This enabled the dealership to sell the vehicle at a significantly discounted rate. The sales team explained the entire process to me and indicated all repairs made to fix the original issues. Both Ford and the dealership stood behind their work with the original factory warranty as well as providing an additional warranty (yes at an addition price, but that is the same for any extended warranty from anywhere). I was very satisfied with the entire experience.

Van Horn Ford has the Best sales process I've ever been a part of !!! I drove 150 miles to buy a FordTaurus SHO, and I would do it again !!! Knowledgeable, Friendly, Patient, Thorough, Professional, & Complete is what comes to mind with this 1st Class Dealership !!! My wife and I came in to look at a new truck and while there is always a level of uncertainty when walking into a dealership (at least for me) the folks at Van Horn made the entire experience unbelievably easy. A no pressure approach from the salesman (Bill) inspired us to believe that not only was he working to "earn our business", but also to keep our best interests as a top priority. We hadn't bought a new car for about seven years so we were very careful and kind of nervous about such a big expenditure. Bill K was knowledgeable, friendly, and made us comfortable right from the start. All the people we met at Van Horn just reinforced our trust in the Dealership and convinced us this was the right group to work with. There were no surprises at the closing which went quick and smooth. They even found us financing at an interest rate half a point less than we thought possible. We are pleased that we chose to buy a new car from Van Horn Oconomowoc and will have our cars' servicing done there as well.
