I made the mistake of buying a consigned car sight unseen. I thought I could trust the salesman (Mike) when he said he had driven the car and ran very well. I thought it was odd when he mentioned the seller was keeping the original wheels, but I didn’t insist on why. Upon receiving it, the car was missing its tool kit, spare wheel, jack kit, battery box, sunroof spoiler, owner’s manual with pouch, and had no clutch or brakes. So I am guessing the consignee kept all this stuff?? What a horrible experience, I haven’t had a chance to drive the car yet as I had it towed to my mechanic for the clutch/brakes. Please do not trust what the salesman tells you on the phone, and be sure to inspect the car in person and see that it comes with its spare wheel, tools, and owner’s manual or you will be sorry.
