Case Study in How Not to Handle a Serious Buyer Presented with a qualified buyer, CarShop responded with snide dismissal, falsely claimed there was no one to escalate to, and insisted their price was firm. Days later, they unilaterally lowered that price by $400—almost the exact difference I had professionally proposed. This was not a procedural win. It was a case study in institutional arrogance, strategic incoherence, and performative rigidity masquerading as policy. When rigidity meets expertise, the outcome is predictable: lost profit, reputational damage, and the cost of bureaucratic fundamentalism. CarShop’s refusal to engage became a masterclass in missed opportunity and policy-over-principle thinking. Process without discernment is not professionalism. It is liability. And no they are paying daily Sunrise Costs for the privilege of NOT having my money.

This is a modern way to shop for vehicles.

This is a modern way to shop for vehicles. No haggle pricing I like Could have been a little more old school going over the vehicle options and features before a test drive. I do like the test drive process. Just give you a plate and you take off. We had some issues with electrical usb power ports after purchasing but the dealer made it all good. Turned out to be a minor issue. My sales rep also helped to get things going with the service team.
