In 50 years of buying cars this was by far the easiest

In 50 years of buying cars this was by far the easiest transaction I ever had. I was prepared for the usual pull and tug but what I got was fairness from both Margarita and Steven and right up to finance and Michael in sales. It was actually fun buying my RDX. You really can't go wrong doing business there.

My experience here was excellent.

My experience here was excellent. It was a smooth process from start to finish. The communication was very to the point and I did not feel pressured at all which was a plus! Not to mention, the wonderful Margarita gets a recognition for being patient and understanding. Lastly, I would like to acknowledge the entire team as well. I would definitely recommend them if you're in the market to purchase.

When I first met with Mike Hamilton my first impression

When I first met with Mike Hamilton my first impression of him was he was a nice down to earth guy and wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase (if I made one) and he seemed to make me feel like I was going to get a great deal.(of course I know that’s what salespeople do to make their money) and I was willing to give him an exceptional review until I started to realize what they were doing to me and that they didn’t really care about how I was treated and the money they were stealing from me, they care about their commission more (and I get that) but does not give them a right to screw me over and try to take every cent from me by not being honest with me when selling me a vehicle. So yes Mike I will say has a great (convincing) personality but I cannot give him or this dealership a good review because they took advantage of me. So if your looking to purchase a vehicle please do your research, check all the reviews and the BBB complaints (there is one similar to mine) before me buying a vehicle from them.( which I did not know about until after I made my purchase.) They are going to tell you the vehicles already come with things installed on them like the wheel locks and Vin etching that cannot be removed and you have to pay as he is adding the amount in on the sales aggreement. This is NOT true. So please read my review from start to finish and hopefully this helps before you decide to buy from them. DO NOT LET THEM TALK YOU INTO THE ARMOR ALL SMART SHIELD BECAUSE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AN OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNT (THEY CHARGED ME $897.00) AND IT WAS NOT EVEN APPLIED TO MY VEHICLE. They tell you it’s a great thing to have and it’s a great warranty. December 23rd, 2022 - I called Speedcraft Acura located at 883 Quaker Lane West Warwick RI 02893 to inquire about a 2023 Acura MDX Advanced Package that I saw they had on their website, I spoke to Mike Hamilton (General Sales Manager) he was very nice on the phone when we spoke. I asked him if the price listed on the website of that vehicle was the out the door price on the car and wanted to make sure there were no hidden surprise costs, he told me no absolutely not, the price I see on the website is what I pay and no hidden cost surprises. I told him I wanted to schedule a day to test drive the car so Mike said that if I gave him a deposit on the car it would be held for me and would be 100% refundable back to me if I decided I did not want the car. I gave him $1,000.00 deposit which I had no problem doing. December 26th, 2022: I Went into Speedcraft Acura, I met with Mike Hamilton, we shook hands, he took a copy of my license and handed me the keys to the car I was interested in, I took it for a test drive and came back to the dealership, sat down with Mike to go over everything, he told me that Acura sends the vehicles to the dealers with Vin Etching and Wheel locks that remain on the car and is an added accessory that I have to pay for on top of the vehicles price and cannot be removed as he is writing the price on the sales agreement, of course I paid (because I thought he was being truthful) I had no intention of talking them down on the vehicle price. I paid a total price with accessories, tax, title and whatever else they add in of $71,596.22. I told him I would bring in a bank check on Saturday December 31st 2022 at 1:00 pm. (he said they needed it by then if not before because they had to close out the year) I have a log of numerous calls to them from December til March but I can’t post all. Because it’s too long for this . But they will charge you for things and will not have what you paid for done to your car and they lie and tell you that you have to pay for things that already come on the vehicle ontop of the out the door price. It’s not true! They lie

I enjoyed the best car buying experience of my lifetime

I enjoyed the best car buying experience of my lifetime at Speedcraft Acura. I first met with Tom Conti in October and placed an order for a 22 RDX. I paid a deposit fee and we basically had a hand shake agreement on the price until the vehicle arrived in March. We closed on the deal in three days and I paid exactly what I expected for my new vehicle. No flim/flam; no added unnecessary charges; Just an honest fair deal. I definitely would recommend Tom as a salesman and the entire dealership staff who assisted me on my trade-in and financing. It was just a great experience!

Disappointed With Service Management

I have owned Acura’s for 23 years and never had an experience like I did this week. I went in for an oil change which went fine other than it takes 1.5hr for just an oil change, but also I asked to have my car valued. This is the second time I have asked during an oil change. The last time it was never done after asking twice. The service manager asked me if I knew the car was a buy back. Why yes, in fact I did. All he had left to say “we at Speedcraft do not deal with these kinds of cars.” So my disappointment is in two parts. One...It’s an Acura. Acura took the car back to fix the issue and you as Speedcraft Acura are a representative of Acura so you should be able to give me the value of my car. Second, I never once asked to trade it in. In fact, I expressed the fact that I was purchasing new tires soon. All I asked for was a number...the value of my car. If you are a service manager who can not give me a value of a car even if it’s a buy back Acura then you should not be a service manager at all. The trust is lost because that tells me you don’t know how to do your job and you don’t value your customer as you walk away from me. Part of your job is knowing how to value a car. I don’t know if he thought he could talk to me the way he did because I am a women or he didn’t understand the meaning of the word value but as far as I’m concerned they lost a customer for life. I will go back to First Acura in Seekonk for better management communication and I will continue to tell everyone what a poor experience I had and I am seriously thinking of buying Lexus next time seeing as Acura has become a disappointment this time around.
