At 70 years old, I've purchased a LOT of new cars, but I've never bothered to leave a review until now. My wife & I purchased a 2025 Nissan Sentra a couple of days ago. I'd be less than honest if I stated that I was excited about shopping for a new car (or doing ANY kind of shopping!). Fortunately, we decided to check out O'Brien Nissan first, as they were conveniently closest to our home. I politely explained to our salesperson, Andrew Swaney (HIGHLY recommended!!) that I just wanted to see their selection and ask some basic questions. In a nutshell, we drove the car, loved it, then made the purchase. Andrew was never pushy or aggressive; just polite, friendly & informative. So much so, in fact, that we invited him & his family to our home! We've never made a new friend at a car dealership before! You? Ha! Ha! I only met one other employee (who assisted us with financing paperwork towards the end) and he was likewise very friendly and informative. Unfortunately, I'm terrible with names and can't locate his business card at this writing. So... If you're looking for an easy, hassle-free transaction, visit O'Brien Nissan and ask for Andrew. Misleading,deceptive,bouble talkers,not about service
Misleading,deceptive,bouble talkers,not about service only about bumping cash on invoice. When asked direct questions they out right lied to me in service dept from appointment to entering service department.

We have been buying cars from Nissan in Bloomington since 2018. Chase has always been our salesman. He is very polite, knowledgeable and professional. This last time we just bought a 2024 Murano, which is always been my dream car.

Excellent service and timely repairs!
Kylie and Jaden in the service department were more than helpful with my Sentra Nismo! I had just moved to town and started a new job when the transmission started giving me problems and failing at random times.. not good. They took my car right in that day and set me up with a loaner car so i could continue to go to work as they repaired my car under warranty! The car works perfectly after repairs, just drove it 250 miles and its A#1!!! They did not charge me one red cent for any repairs, not even a deductible for the warranty!

Phenomenal
I had the pleasure of working with Chase. My experience was phenomenal, I reached out to schedule a test drive over the weekend and received an immediate response. Chase was even willing to come in on his day off to assist me! All of my question were answered and I left with an amazing vehicle. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a stress free car buying experience!

Went here looking for a Nissan Altima.
Went here looking for a Nissan Altima. Started off a decent conversation with the salesperson Chase. Turned into wanting me to put $500 down to hold the car, in which I had no intention on doing. So instead I went there at 9 A.M. met Chase took the car out for a test drive filled out the paperwork and was told no bank would touch me for a loan because of the equity of the car. He also said I would have to put $10,000 with my trade. He told me I could go to Carmax or some other place and sell my car to them they would give more than it was worth. I said I don’t think so, I know what I can get for my car. So give me my keys im going to buy a Honda Accord. That’s exactly the brand new car I got with only $2000.00 down. So there’s your no bank will ever touch you without $10,000 down. One thing I don’t do is believe anyone that tries to lowball me on a trade. I drove directly to the other dealership and took my new car home the very next day without putting a single dime down before picking it up. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from O’Brien Auto Team as long as I live. I bought two vehicles from this dealership and the relationship ends there permanently. I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy from this dealership. They need to treat people like customers not like used rags.

Worth the second chance
I originally had a horrible experience at a different O’Brien location. My husband and I came to the O’Brien Nissan in Bloomington, where we met Chase. He was very nice and professional. It was probably the fastest I’ve ever purchased a vehicle. I’ll definitely come back to see Chase at the Bloomington location for my next vehicle.

Worst car buying experience ever!
Worst car buying experience ever! If you must purchase a car from this dealer do not buy from Tony T.-the truth eludes him! Sold a brand new car with repaired windshield that was finally replaced after weeks of us contacting them( no contact from dealer). He sold a car but lost a customer for life.
