Worst Service Ever

Had to go into Percision Hyndaui because the muffler on my 2014 Tuscon was recalled, it only has about 50k on it. Mention that there is an annoying rattling noise coming from the passenger side (apparently a super common issue according to online forums). First, I received an email for my appointement reminder but it stated that to investigate this rattle issue it was going to cost about $150.00. I thought this is odd, I’ve never had a Hyundai dealer do something like this in over a decade of owning them, especially since it is still under warranty. Second, I called about the potential charge and they said oh don’t worry about it, that’s only in extreme circumstances, like if “you go off roaring”. Mmmm sorry but no one is using a Tucson for off roading! I had a good laugh and thought this is good, this means it is covered by warranty. Third, I come in the next day, explain that I am still worried about the rattle issue but don’t want to pay for them just to investigate it, surely they can tell I keep my SUV is in great condition, I’ve been driving my children around in it since I bought it, nice and careful, no accidents, only 50k on it. The guy at the check in says it could be covered that they had issues with strut bolts and some sort of suspension thing but still can’t let me know if it is covered. Fourth, I asked to speak to the service manager, who told me this stuff was only covered for the 1st or up to 20,000km and that it would not be cover by warranty without looking at the car. So I have to waste my morning to go into Percision Hyundai to replace parts that they recalled and they can’t even tell me if the rattling is covered by warranty or not. Instead I get several different stories about why this may or may not be covered by warranty. You have my suv up on the lift replacing my muffler, check the suspension and struts on the back passenger side, it’s not rocket science! I have owned Hyundai’s for over 10 years and have never received such terrible service and such a lack of Percision. I even bought this one from Percision Hyundai! Next year I was going to upgrade to a Sante Fe but will now look elsewhere for my purchase, obviously. I am writing a letter to the head office of Hyundai Canada to express my concerns.

Worry Free and Enjoyable Car Purchase! Very professional

I went in to purchase my first new car from Precision Hyundai and for the very reason I was a bit nervous but Rahim at the Sales Department made my car purchasing an enjoyable experience. Because I booked a 2019 Hyundai Kona, I had to wait a little for the car to arrive, however he kept me informed about the status while I was waiting. I found Rahim to be very truthful and not pushy like other salesmen and he went above and beyond to make my car purchase friendlier. Also Billy at the Finance made my paper work go smoothly. I would strongly recommend this dealership to all of my friends. If anyone plans to buy a Hyundai, make sure you ask for Rahim as he is not just a salesman but he works out a deal for our best interest. I am completely satisfied with my car purchase at Precision and also how Rahim made the car purchase worry free. Thank Rahim!

terrible experience

had engine cease in rogers pass and had to have it towed to this dealer. after 3 months of waiting on parts they still fixed it wrong. the alternator was not hooked up properly and ended up having it towed again. lucky I was close enough to Kelowna to get it towed there instead of Calgary. this is something a grade 10 highschool mechanic shouldn't miss.Combined withnever returning phone calls and refusing to help with the warrenty issues like car rentals and other expenses, not pay them but help with the process, led to a very frustrating experience and a major waste of time and missed work on my part. Jared and his team need some serious retraining.

Hi Kent Unfortunately, you experienced a serious problem with your vehicle and you expected it to be repaired properly. Our tech admitted to an oversight of not plugging in the altenator when he was finished. For that we truly apologize. We too, had to wait for the motor and parts from the manufacturer before we could effect repairs. Sorry that your experience was not up to your, nor our, expectations

Effective and efficient service!

A real and truthful salesman

I went in to Hyundai not to excited because I had another make and model of car in mind but I went to check. The moment I walked in Rahim greeted me and asked me all the right questions to find the right car and deal for me. He did not try to push me in to something I wasn’t comfortable and happy with like other salesmen from other dealerships did. He was always looking out for my best interest. I fell in love with the 2019 luxury Santa Fe. He worked on an awesome deal for me and I couldn’t be happier. He is not just there to sell you the car and that’s it. He has followed up with me to see how I am doing with the car and has done everything I have asked for. I am 100% satisfied with his service and this dealership. I would recommend to anyone.
