I had the best experience with this dealership! Damie Griffin, my sales person was excellent and patient with me. He went over all the details of the 2026 Jeep Wrangler before we took it on the test drive, showing how to take the top off, putting it back up and unhooking, rehooking the back window. After the test drive, we went over the paperwork as they took my Jeep Sahara out to appraise it. The Sales department really worked hard to give me the best deal, giving me top dollar for my trade in as well as any rebates I qualified for. They answered my questions about GAP insurance, Car Care Service Maintenance Plan and a Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty. Before I left the lot, Damie connected my Iphone to the Jeep and showed me a few things on setting up my screen which I have promptly forgotten. I bought the Jeep on Wednesday and Damie has texted or called me every day asking if I had any questions or concerns and if I need any help with anything. I told him I was trying to figure out the navagation system and he has asked me to stop by when I'm in the area and will show me how to get that working. I have been very impressed with them and will come back to them again. One last thing, I had worked night shift the night before and had not slept. They were very concerned about my safety when I left the dealership since I had been up almost 24 hours, which was sweet.

Do not, I repeat do not use this dealership for ANYTHING!!!!!! I bought a used jeep from them. Supposed to have been gone over by a “master mechanic”. Only to find out all wheels had no weights and wobbled, leaking radiator down pipe and no radiator cap. Took it to Hendrick Jeep just for a look over and they found the above issues. Now I bought this pod Jeep on 10/4/25. 10/22/25 comes along and I’m on the way to the mountains of Tennessee. Right outside Saluda the engine seizes. No tow trucks come to area I’m in. Now granted I’m 3 hours away from the dealership. They tell me to tow it back. I can’t, I would have to set up a relay of tow trucks that would takes way to long as we were on vacation. After much cussing screaming and yelling from me they finally decided to come to Asheville to get the jeep where we had finally got a tow against their will. At this point they are rude and the date is 10/22/25. That is where the jeep has sat and still sits to this day all the while I’m paying for this jeep each month and insurance. The issue is I never agreed to repairs and they replaced the engine and electrical wiring to the tune of $14000. They let it sit past the dealership 60 day warranty thinking my extended warranty would cover it and they denied it. Chrysler is denying the repairs money and the dealership won’t pay either. So there you have it. 6 months sitting there. Won’t release it to me at any cost. So there you have it Do not go to them you will be sorry.

I left the review a couple days ago, Steve Smith, the general manager calls me not to fix things, but to ask me if I know the definition of the word slander to make yourself feel better. that's what you're doing with

Stay away from this place. Worst customer experience of my life. They are snakes in the grass. True definition of stealership. Buyer beware.

I’ve been bringing my wife’s vehicle to this store for years, and I have to say this has been the best experience so far. I worked with Mike, and he helped me through a very frustrating vehicle breakdown. It really shows how much he cares — the new staff are all helpful and attentive. You can tell Mike is turning the store around. I’ll definitely be telling friends and family to bring their vehicles here for the best service in Albemarle

Had an appointment on Friday and never got a single update on my vehicle. I kept calling, and they literally took the phone off the hook. I ended up having to pay another tow fee just to remove my car from this disgusting excuse of a business. When I walked in, not one person acknowledged me, and they even handed my keys to someone without asking for identification. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and the environment reeks of racism. I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate no one should have to deal with this level of disrespect.

I was looking at buying a Rocky Ridge Ram from them. They are an hour and 35 mins one way from me. I tried to do the negotiating before I went in. Because I was going to be paying Cash for this truck. The Mgr GG said Your best negotiating tool is your presence here. Which I explained I would be paying cash and live that far away. Didn't matter to them. I guess they seem to think there is not other dealerships you can go to. You are going to deal with a dealership that is willing to work with you. They lost this SALE.

Was happy with vehicle purchase, however it didn’t come with floor mats. $40,000 and no floor mats. I had the initial pleasure of working with Joseph. When mentioned that it had no floor mats, he initially stated that he may get employee pricing for weather tech, and as I was leaving, it was stated to me let me see if we can get those thrown in free. Have been blown off or got delayed 4-5 days until today and told they just don’t come with truck. Extremely disappointed. “Broken Albemarle Promise if you like within 1 week”

DO NOT BUY A CAR from Albemarle CDJR dealership unless you want to pay an additional $2k for their Albemarle Promise! It is a bunch of xx. Do your research and read reviews for both sales and service across all platforms. Do not waste your time with them. We did not want the Albemarle Promise (as we do not live local) however they would absolutely not remove the $2k from our sales invoice. Other customers there the day we bought were asking us if they removed it for us. They DID NOT. The Promise states that it is for Lifetime Powertrain Warranty on all new vehicles, 3 months/3k mile limited Power Train on preowned vehicles, lifetime inspections, 2 years complimentary Oil Changes and Interior/Exterior Protection for 1 year. I am currently working on reporting them to the BBB, the Attorney General, and NC DOJ Consumer Protection Division for fraud and deceptive practices. I will be posting reviews on all websites that I can…. Google, Yelp, KBB, Cars.com, DealerRater, CarFax……… They are ripping people off. I want to help as many people as I can not to have to go thru this. Do not be misled by their overall star rating as they have their salespeople push customers to leave them a good review so that they ‘win sales contests’. Dealership has their sales numbers so the reviews are just a way to help cover their shady practices. Please SHARE this!
