I found this dealership to have quality cars at good...

I found this dealership to have quality cars at good prices, and all those who work there are very friendly and not at all pushy! The owner, Ahmed, was kind, negotiable, and truly a gentleman. Very impressed with this small dealer that has quality used cars at very good prices. Very impressive. I would highly recommend City Motor Group in Haskell, NJ

Amazing!

Alexandra Maydelman is an exceptional businesswoman. We had a little check engine light issue, and she spent a fair amount of time and effort in getting it fixed. She gave me her word on the final repair, and sent me the check she promised, on a "hand shake". That is the kind of behavior that restores one's faith in honesty and integrity in business. "A" plus!

Predatory Dealership

Tl:dr - expect $2200 in additional hidden fees. Let's take a moment to critically think about why hundreds of car dealers exist like this one. Their main revenue source comes from kickbacks from predatory lenders. You go in, provide a down payment, sign some lending forms, you're on your way with a shiny new car (remember the 2008 financial crisis? same concept). They win whether or not you are able to pay your future payments. Now on to further fees - a $600 documentation fee is standard in the industry. What is not standard is a MADE UP $1500 fee =] Don't let these guys fool you. If possible, I would give 0 stars, but watching as these mental giants squirm when they try to explain the justification for the additional fee is worth the 1 star.

Thank you for your feedback however we have no control over interest rates. The buyer's credit alone determines that. If someone receives a higher rate that is due to bad credit and non payment of previous loans making you a high risk buyer. No lenders give kick backs on high risk buyers! With that being said, all your options are given to you prior to making a purchase and we don't have any MADE UP fees. If you received higher rates because of your credit, unfortunately we couldn't help you and did not push you into making a purchase. Good luck with your car search!

Online prices are a scam, don’t expect to pay what is listed online. Total waste of time since their dealership’s preparation fees boost the price to a level that’s ridiculous. I believe they call it FALSE Advertising.

Mikayla and Ahmed were awesome! They came to pick us up...

Mikayla and Ahmed were awesome! They came to pick us up at the TD bank and let us sit in and drive all our options (make sure to check specific features on vehicles because it didnt always match up) and didn't add any unnecessary pressure to purchase right away. They gave us a fair price and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the vehicle before driving away (the navigation began to malfunction and Ahmed assured me that he would make sure it was in 100 percent working order before I left as the description stated). He also called to follow up and make sure everything was going great and offered an oil change whenever I'm in the area again! These guys are great to buy from.

BUYER BEWARE

Would never recommended anyone buying a car from City Motor they have no integrity what so ever. After only 20 days the clutch went on the 2016 Lancer. I called explaining my son was stranded on the side on the road and it was 94 degree out and was told some one would be back to me shortly. Two hours later I called back and was told they were busy. Another hour 1/2 goes by to find out that the clutch is a wear item and they aren't responsible for repairing it. My son has been driving a manual for 2 years so trust me it wasn't him even mechanic said that car has a lot of issues and I should sell it. After arguing with them they agreed to send a $300 check. Well so far it cost me $2100 to have clutch fix and brakes are shot. Asked Ahmed if they have a mechanic look over the car before they sell it and he said yes. My mechanic said no way because it should of never been sold in that condition. Think long and hard before buying from them, I understand that I am buying a used car and there may be issues but they way they handle this situation was very unprofessional.

Hello Nancy, we agreed on the $300 reimbursement because the clutch is an AS-IS non warrantied item. Even your mechanic told you that. After we sent you the $300 reimbursement, I tried to help you look for a part - but as I've told you it is a dealer only item and we would get it at the same cost as you. You reached out to me needing to have the car towed, but I don't have anyone in PA that would've been there within the hour - I told you that. Everyone that we work with is too far away from PA - we are in NJ. And I have spoken with you MANY times after that. I never ignored you. As I told you many times over the phone, all engine transmission issues are covered but again unfortunately a clutch is not.

You can lie all you want I had to call you numerous times. My mechanic said that car has so many issues I should just sell it so apparently you don't even look over a car before you sell it so buyer beware. My mechanic said that the guy that owned that car prior had a major accident with it. I understand that he didn't claim it under insurance because it didn't appear on the Carfax but if your mechanic even looked at it would of know this and I did ask if it was ever hit and I was told no and why did I have to give you one star to post my comment lol Also want to know if you sell a car shouldn't it pass inspection ????
