Buyer Beware
I purchased a 2011 Subaru Forester from Automania for my teenage daughter. I paid $8000 for the vehicle. The car was advertised as being in good working order. The engine failed after 200 miles leaving my daughter stranded on a busy highway. I asked them to do the honorable thing so we come to a resolution. Their only response was tough luck you bought the car as is but "I can give the number of a mechanic". It is It is easy to be ethical and honorable when the transaction goes well. You see the true character and honor of a company and individual when the transaction goes bad. Buyer beware.

Need to make a better effort to sell a car
Typical of mediocre high end auction car buyers. Get a ton of inventory, and car is buried in inventory. Battery dead. Car has a problem. Called hour and a half prior to visit to look at the car. Give me a call if I am going to find a problem and don't waste our time. Granted plenty call and no show. But I gave my name/number. Said when I would be there. You might bring the thing out or just let the customer how you do business.

Photo Transparancy Requested
I looked at a car and the photos looked good online. I went in to look at the car and saw the interior of the cargo area was missing. No spare tire and no interior to cover the cargo area. I would have appreciated learning this from photos before traveling to look at the vehicle. The shop offered to address these issues, but not until I paid for the vehicle and completed the sale. I questioned their incentive to do anything after the vehicle had already been purchased. I would recommend a different dealership.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!
I bought a Nissan Rogue from this dealership against my better judgment, I really didn’t wanna give them my business. To start of the sales rep acted like he didn’t even wanna make a sale the entire time we were there. He left us alone to do everything test drive, fill out paperwork, etc. he honestly acted like he just couldn’t be bothered. Anytime we had questions or concerns he definitely made you feel like you were a burden. I pointed out the cars automatic trunk hatch was broken, he just shrugged his shoulders and refused to lower price. I point out the brakes felt weird he told me they were fine, without even looking at it. Well it’s been barely a month since I bought and I took it in for an oil change and guess what, the brakes need to be replaced. Horrible service and I question if they even inspect their vehicles before putting them out for sale. Very unhappy, will never give them business again and you shouldn’t either.

bad experience
Bought a car from here not even two full days later the check engine light comes on. I find out the spark plugs need to be replaced, instead of taking care of the issue they tell me it is on me to take care of the cost and it is not their problem.

Car Inquiry Never Returned (Twice)!
Made inquiry through Cars.com about a car. Submitted interest with credit approval option. Never heard back from them. About three weeks later I did it again with a different car they had listed and again, no response. A couple days later I called and asked if they are open and doing business during this flu season? The man said yes. So I explained how I submitted my interest on a car through Cars.com and hadn’t received anything back, twice! He asked what car was the inquiry about! He explained that those two cars I inquired about are not financed through their dealership because of the price and condition and said I could buy it with cash or go to a bank or credit union for my financing! I guess that all implies, they don’t respond to potential buyers through Cars.com if you choose certain cars they have listed! I see one of the two cars has sold since. Not recommended for friendly customer service.

recently bought a truck. never bought a vehicle in this type of setting so was skeptical. Requested permission take vehicle to personal mechanic and fee was $500 that would not be returned if any issue other than engine or drive train was compromised. This was a redflag--as if to discourage discovery. Because it had a salvage title this evaluation by a certified mechanic was essential. The mechanic evaluation checked out OK so it appears that the company does put some effort into selectivity of vehicles in terms of operational quality and safety. Michael was the salesperson and was able to answer all questions; selling process was smooth. There was a front end shimmy on the test drive and the issue was fixed (tire balance). I was told by Michael to contact him if the issue persisted--that was appreciated. Overall process was good but would still feel more comfortable if autos were " guaranteed" for at least a reasonable time frame wihout an extra charge--but took that risk . So far seems like I got lucky, saved a bundle with a vehicle that runs great with no overt issues. I noticed that in some of the reviews that I read the owner responded to those that had raised concerns. That's commendable--shows concern for others and his reputation
