AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I am including my full experience here and will provide a summary at the end. I live in Georgia and was looking to buy a car from Car Loft in Virginia. I started the buying process end of May 2024. First off, the online price of the vehicle was nowhere near the final price I paid. I know that dealerships typically do not include dealer/processing fees and such in their online prices but it still feels dishonest considering how much was added onto the initial price. I spoke to a salesperson named Krissy about the car. For the most part, she was helpful. She helped me through the buying process and has explanations for any questions I had. So far, no issues until I ask about the "Pre-Delivery Fee" of $1,295. She explicitly tells me certain things were fixed for the vehicle INCLUDING an oil change (relevant later). I agree to all the fees, get a PPI, and they send over the paperwork. After signing everything, I noticed they misspelled my last name on one of the documents causing them to have to send another batch of documents. This pushes the buying process back another week. I sign the new documents and the car is finally delivered about two weeks later. Remember when Krissy told me that the "Pre-Delivery fee" included an oil change? Immediately upon starting the car, I see a warning light on the dash saying the car needs an oil change and wiper fluids. I thought that was strange so I refer back to the pictures from my PPI before I bought the car. I didn't notice them before but there they were in the pictures, same exact lights on the dash. Krissy lied to me about the oil change. I call her to ask about the warning lights. She tells me that she checked the car before it was shipped to me and there were no lights. This is the second time she has lied to me and my proof is my PPI pictures. Asking for a refund of course go nowhere. I understand a simple oil change is not worth a full refund of the Pre-Delivery fee, but if she lied to me about that, then how can I accept paying for anything else? About a month goes by and I still have not received the title to the vehicle. She tells me there is a $90 tax difference needed. Fine, I pay it. Weeks go by and I am checking in every week for an update, and every time I get some excuse that its taking long because it is an out of state purchase. Many times they would just tell me they will check and that they would call me back only to never call. On one occasion, I speak to this seemingly nice guy (I do not remember his name). He tells me he will check on the title and says I can call him back on his personal number. A day or two later, I call him back for an update. He answers only to hang up on me and not answer my subsequent calls. After almost three months I am getting fed up so I call my county tag office. They tell me they have sent the dealership a notification of missing documents/payments MONTHS AGO. At this time, the tax difference has gone up again because Car Loft did not send back the appropriate documents to my tag office and now I am responsible for the increased taxes. I finally get a hold of someone at the title department at Car Loft who is actually able to take action. I begrudgingly pay them the tax difference and they send over the documents/payments to the tag office. It is now end of October and I still do not have the title to the vehicle I bought from them. I was in the process of moving earlier this month so that did exacerbate the situation. However, if Car Loft acted in a timely manner, I would have the title by now, months ago even. SUMMARY: This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. Car Loft has lied to me (I have proof) and wasted MONTHS of my time due to their incompetence. Please please please avoid this dealership.

BUYER BEWARE!!! STEER CLEAR & DRIVE PAST THIS DEA
On June 1st, 2023, I came down to test drive a black 2011 Honda Civic Si at Car Loft. During the test drive I discovered that the air conditioner did not work. Theo told me that the car was already scheduled to have the air conditioning fixed in the shop. I decided to purchase the car contingent upon certain issues on the "We Owe You" document being addressed before I picked up the car which included the air conditioning. On June 12th, I was promised copies of the invoices for all work that was done on the car. "Wick" said that the compressor was weak, and they had been waiting for a part to fix it. The finance guy gave me a hard time saying that I was dragging my feet picking up the car when it was their fault. To top it off, when I examined the car on the 13th, the radiator fan was unplugged. If I hadn't caught that, the car would have potentially overheated and the engine could have blown up! When I asked again for copies of all the work on the car as promised in writing, nothing was provided when I picked up the car on June 17th. This included evidence that the chips in the windshield were repaired, the air conditioner was fixed, the exhaust issue had been addressed, the brakes had been checked, and the back tires had been replaced. There was an excuse of not being able to give me invoice copies because all work done was invoiced to them on a large invoice not just for this specific CIvic Si. I still have yet to receive copies of the invoices, and I have also never received the wheel lock for the lug nuts. Now if I need to remove a tire, I have no tool to remove the lugs without buying new ones. I bought the 2011 Honda Civic Si contingent on certain issues being addressed before I took possession of the car. Clearly, these issues we agreed upon on the "We Owe You" were not addressed or were "Band-Aided" so Car Loft could dodge responsibility. I took the car straight to a Maryland inspection station, so that it could have its inspection. On June 26th, I let Car Loft know that the car had passed inspection. I also told Car Loft that the exhaust leak on the "We Owe You" and other items that should have been caught and fixed in the Virginia inspection cost me $617.70. I have asked continually for the name of the inspection station that inspected this car in Virginia. I did my own research, and the Virginia State Police told me that Pepe's had done the inspection based on the number on my windshield. Oh, and the seatbelt was ripped which certainly would not have passed an inspection in ANY state! COST TO ME: $77.75 sway bar link (right front), $17.79 hanger, $29.65 gasket for where the exhaust was leaking, $85.00 inspection, $400.00 Labor TOTAL $617.70 Again, I have continually asked for information on the shop that worked on the air conditioning both over email and via phone calls. I still don't have any proof that the air conditioning was actually worked on by a professional. If it was fixed, it would not have broken on July 5th. I let Theo know that the air conditioning wasn't working, and that I would be taking it to a shop. I have been in touch regarding the air conditioning repair costs that I have incurred thus far. On July 11th, I incurred an expense of $154.91 to test the air conditioning leak with dye, recharge, and add refrigerant. I had to pay that invoice today. The dye test concluded that there are leaks around the compressor seals, and the condenser gaskets need replacement. The estimated cost is $1,211.05. I bought this car contingent upon the air conditioning working and not just patched so it would fail two weeks later. They straight up lied in their Google review response. They refused to give me my $2 deposit back, and I never had a mechanic with me.
