Most pleasant car buying experience ever!
I want to thank the entire staff at checkered flag vw. My husband and I first went in a few weeks ago to browse and gather information. Alec was so patient and spent time sitting with us to answer any questions we had. A few days later I came back to actively start looking at cars and to figure out what I wanted. Sam was more than willing to educate me and help me figure out what I was looking for. Again, a few days later I came back and both Alec and Sam were out of the office. This is when I met and worked with Jay. For the third time I was highly impressed with the quality of service and lack of the typical "car dealership" pressure. Jay spent so much time with me while I browsed from car to car asking questions. By this point I knew my car search was only taking place at vw checkered flag. So...AGAIN, a few days later I came in and all 3 gentlemen were either busy or out of the office. Thom was my next victim to deal with my indecisiveness and lack of being able to decide what I wanted. Finally I made a decision the next day and Thom helped us finish our purchase. During the signing of the paperwork, Leslie again was a friendly professional face. 2 days after my purchase I brought my car in so we could finish setting up some of the features to my vehicle. I was lucky enough to have Thom and Jay assisting with the confusing technology of newer cars. I can honestly say I have never been more impressed with a dealership. Not once did I feel they they were just trying to make a sale. They all truly cared about making me comfortable with my purchase and took my indecisiveness much better than my husband. checkered flag vb has earned a family of customers for life. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great car buying experience. I feel like an extended part of the checkered flag family.

Good experience but...
I really like the car and I thought my Salesperson was very knowledgeable about the product and purchase process. I however was a little upset because I went in with an pre-approved check for $13,800 and I told her that I was looking for vehicle to fit that price range out the door. She told me the vehicle was only a couple hundred dollars more after taxes but not much, so I reluctantly let my son test drive the car, who was excited about the car after the drive. Then she gave me a price $800 over my limit with my son sitting at the desk with us, which I thought was a sneaky move to get me to buy a car over my price limit, which caused me to put the additional cost on a credit car. This was the only part of the experience the irritated me and I will warn anybody I recommend not to do a test drive until you know the exact price, especially when buying the car for your children.
