Sells cars without title in hand

Bought a car from the dealer. Sold it to me without the title. Promised that the title would be mailed to me. Never received it for a month. Then, had to tell them that if they did not refund me the money, I would have to file a lawsuit against them. Only after this, my money was refunded and car was returned to them. Beware of such unscrupulous dealers!

Right place to buy a used car

Purchased a 2015 Fiesta which was priced right. They were the nicest people which I've lately dealt. Would definitely buy again. We as buyers should be fair to the dealers on one point, if we're talking about used cars and there's an "As Is' tag on the car, that means we're accepting any failure after driving off from the parking lot. They mentioned that we can get a warranty during the purchase. If a buyer doesn't want it, she/he shouldn't complain if something happens. About the positive feedback, Purchased also a 2014 Mustang about a month ago from an authentic BMW dealer. Their finance manager asked me to give positive feedback on some places as well. We're in 2020, all businesses are sensitive of their online reputation. On eBay, almost all sellers are begging to get a five star review.

Car was owned by private seller

The dealer advertised the car as their inventory but it was actually owned by a private seller so they didn't give a warranty or tags and the title was in the private seller's name. After the fact, I realized the seller is not a part of the organization and neither party will take responsibility for $3000 in repairs - more than I paid for the vehicle.
