I just bought a truck from Badger Chevrolet in Lake Mills this weekend (Aug. 2025) and it was the best vehicle buying experience I have had. Jakob Larsen was my salesman. I drove 50 miles to get there and when I got there Jake had everything ready like he said he would. Jake also went through the whole truck with us, he is very knowledgeable, calm and respectful. Wanted an otd price on a $90k truck and I was given a price that was much higher than advertised! When I questioned the price difference I was told that was weird and they had no idea about it. Then no response! Highly unprofessional and rude!

Had 4 new tires placed and requested an alignment during this service in January. Last night, not even a month after their service my front passenger tie rod completely broke. This should have been brought to customer attention that it was in bad shape. Very disappointed in their quality of care.

Terrible experience!! Stay Away!! My husband and I went to purchase a new 2022 Buick Encore Gx-- we did our research and found the exact vehicle we wanted at Badger Chevrolet and Buick, Lake Mills. Quick easy sale for the dealership, we would have been in and out within a hour. But unfortunately the Sales Manager, Tony Tretter said they WOULD NOT honor our GM SUPPLIER DISCOUNT (aka a general motors incentive, paid by General Motors) because we were not local. (meaning not from Lake Mills, as we live just 40 miles away) So for $700, Tony lost not only our business, but the busniess of our family, friends, co-workers and neighbors and so on. So if you are not from Lake Mills, be sure to shop elsewhere.

Avoid BADGER BUICK CHEVROLET of Lake Mills Had service appt scheduled for 1 week at 8a.m. this morning to replace failing water pump. Was told a loaner will be waiting for me to go to work while they work on the car. No loaner. They did not offer to find a different car. They did not offer to ask sales for one of their DRAC Demo loaners. They did not offer to put a dealer plate on any used car for the day to ensure that they get the business, I get my car fixed, and they correct their mistake. They decided to not do any of that. Just simply tell me they can't do anything for us. This was all scheduled. Poor planning, poor customer service, poor poor poor. Sad to see a local small town dealer do business like this. Not like they are a big town dealer where everything and everyone gets lost in the shuffle. Nope. Just a small business dealer that loses you in the shuffle.
