My son and I drove from Arlington to Rowlett to view a truck. Cory, the sales person, met us outside. We looked at the truck somewhat and my son and I test drove the truck. We liked the truck but didn’t make a decision that day. We went back a couple of days later and looked truck over again with more time. Found a few more cosmetic issues but nothing major. We were told if purchased that if something happened to truck within 30 days to bring it back and they will fix the problem. We purchased the truck that day. After having the truck for one day, the radio would not work correctly. We took the truck back and they corrected the problem with buying a new head unit for the radio system. It took a couple of days, got it back and all seems to be working correctly. The facility is nice and clean. Cory had an outgoing personality. This company does more than just sell cars. They will do consignment sales and locate you a vehicle as well. My biggest beef with this place and apparently all other dealerships is the extra prep fee that is added to the price that is not included in the advertised price on the internet. However, this place was the least amount of added fees that I have experienced. Overall we had a good experience with Cory and finance department. I may consider this place for next purchase.

Slow work. Untrustworthy cost me my job

Sir, You're Confused. You didn't buy this vehicle from Accelerate Auto Group. Accelerate Auto Repair fixed your vehicle and here's their response to your review: We’re very sorry that you have such a negative impression of our company. Your review isn’t factual. We also noticed that your overall outlook on companies you choose to do business with isn’t very logical (100% of the reviews you've left on this platform have been 1-star). Per our hundreds of 5-Star reviews, we are professionals in every aspect and would never conduct business in the ways your review suggests. Our Fixed Ops Manager, Ramon, and the rest of our collision team went above and beyond the call of duty in various ways to help you. Your vehicle was deemed a total loss, but you wanted to go ahead and fix it. As you know, we did a lot to help you with pricing, including not charging you for almost $500 worth of paintwork that made your vehicle look far better than it did before it was in an accident. Ramon informed you there was a 2-week delay in getting a good quality used quarter panel (we don’t normally use used quarter panels - but made an exception at your request - to save you money). As you know, the first one arrived damaged, and the next one arrived a week later. After the disassembly of your vehicle, it was discovered that the rear body panel had hidden damage. Ramon immediately informed you of this. As we discussed, additional repairs = additional repair time. As you also know, the actual repair time was 2.5 weeks after all parts were present. Per our communications records and your confirmed responses, you were updated throughout the process. You and your father were clearly very happy with the completed repairs and made no mention of you losing a job as a result of the vehicle being repaired. Approximately one month later, you came back and stated that a molding was coming loose from a weld on the right side of your roof. As you know, we did nothing to the right side of the roof where that part is located. Furthermore, per our pre-repair photos which we showed you, it’s clear that the molding you were talking about was starting to come loose. This is most likely due to your vehicle being 14 years old. When considering all of this, you still attempted to force us to pay for a new part and install it for free. In an effort to keep you happy, we agreed to cover 50% of the part and installed it for free! This review couldn’t be further from the 5-star review we expected from you. Buyer beware. Shady and liars
Lol the dealer response is comical. Yes you sent a walk around video, again as I stated you were not forthcoming in all the cosmetic issues or mechanical issues. Your sales person was pushy and acted like these small issues were no big deal. I guess spending 20 grand on a truck is no big deal to you guys. But to me it is. and regardless of your small increase in interest rate, it wasn’t worth it. More money for less truck. Again I looked at 3 vehicles and all 3 were not what they seemed. I don’t hide my reviews. I don’t even know how to do that. Idiots. And NO I did not ask for a longer term payment on the 2nd truck. So that’s a blantant lie! But I expect nothing less from liars I guess. What a joke this place is. Just the same as any other tote the note. 1st experience here has fantastic. Got a great deal on a great car, super friendly salesman that wasn’t pushy. 2nd one not so much. They have pretty pictures online of vehicles but in person they are not so pretty. Found a truck, let them run a hard pull on my credit, doing this whole online thing. Get to the dealer and the truck is not what it seemed. A lot of body damage, there was a hose not even connected under the hood, a couple lights didn’t work, vibration when driving, old tires. Was not worth what they were asking at all. At all. So thankful I did not put a deposit down on it. Looked at 2 other trucks while there since my credit was already ran, and same thing. One had 7 year old tires on it, and the other ended up being more somehow even though it was a v6. On top of a ridiculous interest rate. Just because you can get 20 grand for a truck doesn’t mean you should. But foolish people willing to pay these prices are why they are high. None of the trucks were even ready when we got there. One was down the street, one in back, and the original one still getting cleaned. Overall will not come back here. Tried to be a repeat customer but this whole 2nd experience was just awful. Seriously hate that I let them run my credit, wasted over an hour drive both ways, for subpar quality, and a sales person that was pushy and didn’t seem to really care about the bad quality. Oh well. Randy, Thank you very much for the opportunity to earn your business, and we’re happy that you enjoyed your first experience with us so much. However, we’re perplexed by the one-star review. We sent you a comprehensive walk-around video of the truck you inquired about, in which we pointed out specific imperfections that you viewed six times before you came by. You also continued to move through the purchase process after viewing/driving it by waiting for financing terms and providing references. Regarding the finance terms, you were okay with the rate we got you for the first truck, and the rate only went up by 0.6% for the second truck because you wanted a longer-term for a lower payment. In response to your claim that our vehicles are overpriced, the truck you inquired about is priced at only $324 above its trade-in value. The more expensive truck had 14,000 fewer miles, was a higher trim level (302a with the XLT chrome package + factory running boards), and its price was only $495 higher. To clear up any confusion regarding why a V6 can cost more than a V8, it’s because the V6 you were looking at had more horsepower and torque than the V8. Ford actually charged $1,600 more for this V6 than the V8 when these trucks were new. We’re growing exponentially right now, and that’s a direct result of us taking excellent care of our clients. As a result, we’re in the process of expanding into our eighth facility. This is why we have vehicles parked in two overflow lots and our average reconditioning times are a little higher right now. Yes, a couple of items still needed attention on the truck you inquired about, but we made it clear that we aren’t done getting it up to our standards and that we’d fix them. When considering that your first experience was fantastic, it’s too bad that you assumed that we wouldn’t do this. Your only objection to the last truck was that its tires were too old, and that’s another example of something we wouldn’t lose business over. To sum it up, you looked at three trucks that were actually priced very fairly, and your actions and statements when you were here aren’t consistent with the review you wrote. We also find it interesting that you have chosen to make your other Google reviews private on your profile. This leads us to believe that you might have something to hide…Like leaving other illogical or unwarranted reviews. This logic goes hand-in-hand with the fact that you didn’t take the time to give us a five-star review for your first experience that was fantastic. We wish you the best, sir.
