Write a reviewI tried purchasing a 2009 Audi R8 from Makes and Models here and after dealing with Adrian Rowe for numerous days and coming to an agreement on both the price R8 and my trade in, they sent over a sales invoice and the deal was sealed. The following day I asked for pictures of the suspension as its a known failure point in this car, and are very expensive to replace, arounf $3,000 per shock! Their online ad it states: "This R8 has been well maintained, with a recent oil change performed at approximately 67,000 miles. It has been upgraded with KW coilovers, replacing the factory magnetic ride suspension known for potential long term reliability concerns while improving handling and ride consistency." The problem is, the shocks were NEVER replaced and were completely blown out. I requested that the suspension be replaced before taking delivery and was even willing to accept a quality aftermarket solution that was significantly cheaper than OEM. I was told if I wanted that done they would begrudgingly split the cost of the parts, and that I would be responsible for 50% plus installation, totaling thousands of dollars on a car I hadn't even taken delivery of yet! This is all after an agreement was made IN WRITING! There were a number of other red flags a long the way, but this one was the worst. I fully believe at this point that they would have sold me this car as is and needing thousands of dollars in repairs if I hadn't asked for those pictures. I can't imagine how horrible of a situation this would have turned into had I taken delivery and found this after the fact. I wouldn't buy a zip tie from these guys, you've been warned!

Took my Ferrari in for some service work. Four months later, got the car back after being told "It was ready to go". Error lights for the F1 system, damage to the exterior, electronics were damaged (they jump started the car improperly) and every aspect of the work performed was subpar to say the least. Makes and Models response was to deny the damage and offer an open transport in the middle of the winter to "try" to fix the car (I was advised by legal counsel to not let them near the car). New clutch, new electronics and a new transmission later, hoping to put this experience behind me. Overall damage was around $40,000 for a transmission service and R & R of the F1 pump. If you care about your car, don't take it to them. Check with the Better Business Bureau and court records, I think you will be shocked.
