No concern or care after I purchased

Bought a brand new 2016 Midnight edition Z71 diesel Colorado, I did this on August 28, 2016 I drove the truck for two days and about 300 miles before the engine light comes on and it says Exhaust fluid system see owners manual now 89 miles until 65mph max speed ok just made it to work in SF, so after work i drive from SF to San Jose Momentum Chevrolet and i called previous to me coming in when i pulled up the service manger greeted me did not write me a RO work order nothing just hoped in my truck and went to one of the bays and hooked my truck up to the computer scanner read the codes and shut the engine code of and the exhaust light off and brought me back my truck in less than 10 min and sent me on down the road. Two days later the engine light comes on with the same code and message so i drive home and now its labor day weekend nobody is around so i make an appointment at Dublin Chevrolet first thing Tuesday morning now my truck has a total of 600 miles and it has sat for longer than i have gotten to drive it ok i make the appointment the hook the truck up for the same code that it just had they tell me it needs a new part have to order it ok better than erasing the code and sending me down the road like Momentum did to me wow now it is September 7,2016 bought a new truck but a bad experience cause of momentum Chevrolet and how the overall buying experience went and how i was treated no care in the world for me after i signed now all in all my truck has been broke for longer than it has been on the road would not service at Momentum or ever buy another car oh ya left messages lots no one will call back BAD BUSINESS overall

A Terrible buying experience

I went to the dealership to get a Volt, I was told this hybrid car can save gas, be more efficient. The salesperson, Leo, was fine, but I did spent over 5 hours there dealing for the car ... The Sales Manager, Terry Pearl, was the worst, tried everything to rip me off. The General Sales Manager, Stephen Davis was very rude as well. I would suggest avoiding this dealership, save yourself some time and go elsewhere, you want a dealership that will treat you nicely, not this one. I agree totally, this is the type of dealership that gives the whole industry a bad name. btw, do not buy a Chevy Volt, it's a crappy car to begin with, cheap materials and a Carplay system that simply does not work with my iphone like they claimed. The car is supposed to get 50+ miles on the gallon, cost $39,000+ ... but to me, for the last 6 days of driving it, I was lucky to get 30+ miles. Also, they told me there's no returning even I'm not satisfied with the car, so I guess I'll be stuck with it for the next 3 years. - John Hsu, car buyer

Isaiah Navarro is a superstar!

We purchased our 2014 Chevy Cruze from Isaiah Navarro. Isaiah was an incredible help/salesman for us. Earlier in morning we had a terrible experience with a different dealership and found ourselves at Momentum Chevrolet. Isaiah was so friendly and helpful. Being a military family, time is extremely important to us since we don't have much time together. He made us a priority and worked quickly answering any questions we had, making our car buying experience a wonderful and memorable one. He was very attentive to our needs showing us multiple models and styles, made sure the car we liked was clean and ready before we test drove it (having to push a broken down Tahoe that was blocking it in out of the way), and was just fantastic at answering all of our questions. We would recommend this dealership and Isaiah along with his sales manager Ryder to anyone and everyone we know in need of a vehicle. This dealership reminded us that car buying should be fun and exciting, not scary and bullied. Thank you so much, we will see you again!

fantastic customer service from Steve Glass

I recently purchased a new Corvette from Steve Glass who is one of the best Fleet Managers I have had the pleasure of doing business with. It all started with an email as I run a business up in Oregon and was searching the Internet for the Corvette I wanted and found it online at Momentum Chevrolet. Steve was great in helping me get pricing and verifying that this car was in stock and available for sale. He then helped me purchase the vehicle without ever having to fly to their dealership. Their were a couple of hiccups along the way regarding my titling paperwork needed for Oregon but Steve was on it ordering it again and getting everyone involved to help resolve the issue. Even on his day off he was calling, texting or emailing me updates and even had the General Sales Manager call me. What great customer service as they finally got my paperwork I needed and for my troubles they even got me a Corvette Jacket to go with my new car. I highly recommend Momentum Chevrolet but you really need to do yourself a favor and only work with Steve Glass. I will gladly purchase there again if the need arises and I will certainly attempt to refer business his way. Thanks again Steve for you help I am a very satisfied Corvette owner.

After-sale responsiveness was lousy

My car buying experience at Momentum left a bad taste in my mouth. The purchasing part was fine, with Tony and Al being helpful and friendly. I wanted to pay cash and said I could come back the next day with the money, but Tony offered a special deal to purchase on the spot. I put down $2500 on a credit card and signed financing papers for the balance, with the agreement that I could pay the balance within the next three days and they'd tear up the financing docs. Well, I arranged a wire transfer from my bank to Momentum's that arrived within 48 hours. I followed up by phone to verify that the wire was successful and to ask for an email saying the car was paid in full. I called and left a dozen messages for Tony, Al, Steve in finance, and anybody else I could think of, but nobody returned my calls. How hard would that have been? It took me four days to get a one-line message saying the wire transfer was completed, with no mention that the car was paid in full. What's that about? I can't imagine the whole dealership was too busy to return my call(s).

Peter is the BEST!

We had been to dozens of dealerships looking for not only the right car, but the right experience. We wanted to know that we were buying a great car from a great place whose salespeople we could really trust. As we started car shopping, we quickly learned just how many not so fabulous dealerships are out there. It's amazing how the price can continue to drop as soon as it is clear that you're walking out the door. ;) From the moment we stepped into the Momentum Chevrolet dealership in San Jose, we were at ease. With the wonderful guidance of Peter, and the assistance of Harry in finance, we walked out of the dealership with the car we really wanted at a price we felt was very fair, and a payment we could afford. It was a fantastic to feel that both Peter and Harry really wanted to help us find just the right fit instead of feeling like making the sale was most important. We couldn't be more pleased!

MICHAEL in the service department was AMAZING

My engine light went on as I was coming down the hill from Santa Cruz mountains from being at camp with 5th graders. Michael worked with my road side assistance person and together calmed me down and got me to the dealership safely. He was there waiting for me and gave me FIRST RATE caring attention. I did not wait for hours or even minutes. He took care of me emotionally (I was a basket case) and had my loaner car ready in minutes. I had all the teachers (3) luggage in the car and Michael had folks move that over to the loaner car so I could return it to those teachers and it was done with a smile and some laughs in minutes. He googled how to get the rest of the way home and went out of his way to make me feel better. AND I might add it was a Friday at 3:00!!! We will take our cars to Momentum from now on for needed service.

A great car buying experience was ruined when I dared to ask if I can get a cash rebate. Michael Ng, Sales Director, in my opinion doesn't have any people skills. He rushed by but didn't spend more than 2 minutes with me rudely telling me there is no cash rebate and walked away. Is it too much to ask from a Sales Director to spend some time with a cash paying customer to explain whether or not a cash rebate is offered which is common in the industry, or explain why a cash rebate might not be available for a specific deal. It's definitely not a good sign if a person like Michael Ng works as a Sales Director giving Sales Managers and Salespersons a really bad example. A car buying experience should be fun, the customer always treated with respect. I can only hope that Courtesy Chevy will take corrective actions and not just leave it at the usual apology call from Robert Yan, General Sales Manager. Michael Ng should not be talking to customers at all if he doesn't understand how they should be treated in the first place. He is in the wrong business.

Normally purchasing a car can be a long and stressful...

Normally purchasing a car can be a long and stressful experience dealing with pushy sales people trying to sell you things that you don't need or want. This was definitely not the case with Courtesy Chevrolet! I started my journey by contacting Jessica the internet sales manager about my interest in buying a new Chevy Volt. I wanted a car that had great mileage for my daily commute since my 2008 Prius was totaled in an accident. Jessica was quite professional and friendly via email! and did not pressure me at all. She invited me down for a test drive and when I arrived was welcomed warmly with a tour of the dealership and was offered something to eat at the world famous Corvette café. During our test drive her and her associate Anthony were most helpfully explaining the different features of the Volt. When we returned to the showroom they provided a detailed lease quote and their GM Troy was kind enough to work with us in providing a great deal! When I decided to go with the Volt and returned to finish the paperwork, it was a smooth and no pressure situation. Jessica walked us through all the paperwork and options clearly and concisely and went out of her way to make sure our car was detailed and treated us to lunch to boot. Highly recommended!
