So I totally forgot about this DealerRater review until I unburied the card while cleaning this weekend. I did set it aside to come back to it later, but I set a lot of things to the side and I don't necessarily attack them in the order I should. WIth that said, it's been a little over a month since I drove off the lot in my brand new Accord EX-V6 and I couldn't be happier. Ed was great and I'm not just saying that. Before ending up at New Rochelle, I visited every Honda up the Hudson River. I actually live in New Rochelle, but my thought process was the farther north I go, the better price I'll get. It was the exact opposite. Also, the level of professionalism exceeded any other dealership. They say never to sign on the first day, but at New Rochelle there's no reason not to. Before visiting New Rochelle Honda, I'd done my homework. I knew what vehile I wanted -a Certified Honda CRV LX, Late model (2008-2009)in excellent condition with less than 30,000 miles,and never having been in a bang-up. Sounds like a tall order? I'd narrowed it down to three Honda dealers; I'd checked out the Honda Certified, Edmonds, and the New Rochelle Honda websites. I'd also checked out two other highly-rated Honda dealers (by the way, my wife and I live in Brooklyn, and decided to pass on any dealers in NYC figuring that cars that had driven in NYC were less likely to measure up). My wife and I determined to visit three Honda dealers, intuitively making New Rochelle Honda last. I started out at each dealership the same way - by advising the sales rep that I wasn't there to waste my time or theirs, so please, no sales pitch.I'd been schooled by my ace mechanic in Brooklyn what to look for and advised that if a vehicle had been in an accident, I'd know (btw CarFax is useless in that regard). By the time we got to New Rochelle we'd been through the ringer - we'd begin to despair that what we were looking for simply didn't exist, plus it was starting to get dark. But then we met Mike Morano, a friendly, up-front individual who actually listens when you speak; he responded to my 'waste-of-time'admonition with 'no problem'.We'd seen a 2009 vehicle on the New Rochelle website that I'd figured was just a bait-and-switch - it sounded too good. Well, it was the first one he showed us, and essentially the only one we really needed to see. However, it was too dark to see clearly.I told Mike that it needed the 'sunshine test' but I was concerned that it'd be gone by the time we showed up two days later (Mike had a super-busy next-day, and advised us to return in two days.) He offered a completely refundable deposit to hold the vihicle until then, which we happily did, and when we did it passed the 'sunshine' test with flying colors. Now I'm not a mechanic, or even very knowledgeable about auto mechanics, so before buying we asked if we could bring the car to a nearby mechanic to check it out. Again, no problem, and his assessment was what we'd hoped for, so we were good to go. The CRV we bought had significantly fewer miles than we were looking for, and looked great. by the way, the engine hadn't been steam-cleaned - it looked like the low mileage it actually had.The price was also more-than-fair. At every step along the way Mike Morano answered every question we had knowledgeably and without hesitation, with no need to consult with his manager - thoroughly comperent. Plus, he's a thoroughly likeable guy. So thanks Mike, thanks new Rochelle Honda. I can't say we'll be back soon (except for maintence)because this vehicle will last us a good while, but I enthusiastically recommend New Rochells Honda as an absolute on your itinerary. We walked into the dealershop with the intention of purchase a car which we have seen advertised on the internet. Unfortunately the car was sold out, but we had out alternate options with other cars so we looked around. Mr. Corey Pickett was very helpful and kind enough to show all those options. Finally, we are able to finalize a car (2010 Honda Civic LX) in about one hour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patience to answer all my questions and not pushy like most car salesman. We purchased the vehicle that day and the dealership had it ready as promised. Thank you so much for Nick Belli, Al Liosi and Corey Pickett. We were very happy with our purchase at Honda of New Rochelle. I definitely would recommend buying your car at this dealership and I will surely come back again.

Just wanted to report my very positive experience with Nick Minervino of Honda New Rochelle. Nick is a very courteous and friendly salesman. He was very patient with us and took the time to explain various features and models to us. He did not try to use any inappropriate sales tactics, and we did not feel pressured into making a decision before we were ready. Highest marks to Nick. The dealership in general was clean, well-run and very professional. We feel like they gave us a great deal on our used car, and would recommend Honda New Rochelle to other used car buyers. In shopping for a used car, we visited other dealers, and were not impressed with their selection, knowledge of the vehicles they offered for sale, or professionalism; this made us appreciate the expertise and sincerity of Nick Minervion and Honda New Rochelle even more. I rate Honda of New Rochelle a 5! I leased a new white Honda Civic EXL back in 2009 and just turned it in a week ago for an upgrade. I loved my car so much that I continued my lease with the same exact car in the same exact color just a 2012. Honda's are great cars. They are very reliable and the customer service is outstanding. What made this such a wonderful experience was dealing with such honest and kind salesmen such as Paul Mecca. Everyone there is super friendly but Paul is just so awesome! He really helped me make the decision of what car suits me best. I am so glad I took all his great advice because I am so in love with my car. It rides so smoothly. If you want a great deal on an awesome car that makes you happy then buy one at Honda of New Rochelle!

I went to Honda of New Rochelle to lease a new CRV yesterday. The salesperson, Ben, was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The general manager, JR, was also great. I got a fantastic deal- I shopped around a lot before selecting this car, and their price was the best that I found. This was the easiest car purchasing experience I have ever had! I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the service I received. I will definitely recommend Ben and JR to my friends and family and I will be back when I need another vehicle.

This was our first time dealing with Honda. We have always been Jeep customers. The experience was wonderful. Ed was great with us. He kept in contact with us giving us updates as to when our car would be in. We ordered a color that was not in stock. So it was going to take about 3 weeks to come in. Every week Ed called my husband to keep him updated on the status. We love our new CR-V.
