Always leave happy

We have dealt with Chuck Otstot for probably 20 years. I think if he didn't work for Jeff Wyler, we wouldn't drive. He has always taken great care of us and our needs. We tell him what we want and can afford, and he never disappoints us. We have loved and enjoyed every vehicle he has put us in. Working with him and the rest of the Wyler crew is always a pleasure! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS, SO WE CAN KEEP BUYING CARS!!

I worked with Tyler Restau to get my new car. He was honest and straight to the point with me. He was very busy that day but still made sure I was not ignored. He is an excellent member of your team. Thank you Becky Sadler

I will never EVER go back again. Once was enough. Over charged for parts. Over filled 3 tires, butbthe 4th. Let the air out. I checked my gauge in the car 45 lbs of pressure in the 3. 4 lbs in the last one. I know none of them were low if at all when they recieved it. But to ober inflate?? Why???. I called parts department when i left. They quoted me 375 for throttle body. My paperwork says i payed 575. Again.. why???? If anyone ever asks me for an opinion.. i will be sure to tell then to steer clear.. shady .. *UPDATE* following morning. After taking the time to fix the tire inflation problem. The tire that only had 4 lbs of pressure has lost 10 lbs over night. Perhaps the service dept. Did not like the fact that i told them i have my own favorite tire shop. I know im needing to get then soon as well. Also the door clearly states recommended tire pressure as everyone should know, especially the tech that is working on the vehicles. I now believe he/she purposely over inflated the tires to force an issue. The tires clearly say 35 lbs max. Not only do i feel like a rippedoffcustomer. Now im a very pissed off customer as well..

Adam our salesman

Adam was great. He was very helpful; and was not pushy like a lot of the salesmen we have encountered. He made sure all of our questions were answered. As a result we purchased a vehicle.

Taking advantage of out of state person

The hatch on my 2003 4Runner would not stay closed. I was fairly confident that the cause was a build of dirt around the locking mechanism. I did not have the tools to look at the issue. I told the service advisor what the problem was, and I would like them to remove the interior material, expose the latch and clean the dirt. The advisor immediately asked if I needed spark plugs, they most likely need replaced. What the spark plugs had to do with the rear hatch I’m not sure. I told him no and just clean the area and if that didn’t correct the issue let me know what we needed to do. While waiting I checked possible issue and I looked up the cost of typical repair to replace the latch actuator, $150 to 225 for parts, $200 labor. They came back and told me the actuator was bad, the cost would be appropriate $700. They would order the part but I needed to pay for it upfront. I told them I really didn’t think it was the issue and I was concern that they would replace that part and another might be bad or it was just the dirt. I did test the actuator by letting it grab a screw drive it seemed to hold fine. They agree to order the part without me paying. I set an appointment for the next day. I get back in the car and several new service lights were on. I left but did like the fact they didn’t clean up whatever they did. After I left I decided to take it to an independent mechanic. They did not take the hatch apart but just used an air compressor to blow out dirt from around the mechanism. The hatch now locks just fine. Jeff Wyler service tech could not have cleaned the area as I requested, they let me leave with multiple dash light indicators on and I feel since I was from out of town and wanted to get back n the road they wanted a quick buck. As soon as I had the issue corrected I call Jeff Wyler parts department and had them cancel the order. I did not want them to have a part in inventory that wasn’t needed. I then requested to talk directly to the service manager. I waited on hold for awhile and then was sent to voicemail. I called back after leaving a message and waiting. After jumping through additional hoops I finally got total to Vaughn. I was assured their best master mechanic of 30 years did look at it and did all the testing. To be honest if I ever had a problem with a shop it seems like I alway get their best and I must be wrong, they cannot make an error. I’m luckily I guess. I told Vaughn I was not confident in their service assessment, they did not clean the dirt out of the area, they tried to sell me spark plugs for some unknown reason before even checking out the truck and they sent me off with additional maintenance light on. I told him I wanted the light cleared, the diagnostic tool they used caused the issue. I had to spend an additional hour there but I did get out. In my opinion I would not use this shop, but that is just my opinion on a one time experience.

Restored my trust in JW after the worst experience in buying my truck if ended in a screaming match and I walked out and bought elsewhere. Thought I’d give service folks a chance and not have to drive to Beavercreek.
