Friendly, low pressure and got me a good deal on a 2019 Niro. Car came clean and full of gas. I would definitely recommend Foundation Kia and Stephen.

DO NOT BUY OUT OF STATE (or at all) TL;DR: Foundation Kia turned what should’ve been a straightforward out-of-state purchase into a frustrating mess of paperwork errors, poor communication, surprise costs, and unresolved delivery damage. Paperwork Issues: - This was a very disorganized process. They assured me that they do many out-of-state deals, but their actions suggested otherwise. For example, they didn’t send me the correct paperwork, failed to sign some of the paperwork they did send, and forgot to send me a copy of the completed paperwork after they signed on their end. - They charged me the incorrect tax amount (4x too much), despite telling me that I was wrong and that their platform is never wrong. They did refund me eventually, but only after I went back and forth with the general sales manager Terence and talked to the titling agent. - After more back and forth, I also ended up having to do the titling and taxes myself. They did eventually reimburse me for the fees, but it took a couple of months. - They failed to send me the “Colorado package” extended warranty policy information (that they forced me to buy as an add-on) for several weeks. They repeatedly told me that it would work anywhere but it does not and now I’m stuck with a useless policy that I questioned from the start. Damaged in Delivery: - The car arrived damaged and the transport company rushed me to sign before they would release the vehicle to me, so I couldn’t contact Foundation Kia about the damage to discuss what to do. I have photos of the damage from the drop off point before I took possession of the vehicle, but Foundation Kia says there’s nothing they can do and they are unwilling to work with me on resolving the issue. - Despite reminding them several times, they failed to include the all-weather floor mats with my car, and I had to remind them multiple times to send me the mats after initially informing them. - The car also arrived with very low tire pressure, only half charged, and very dirty. Poor Customer Service: - The general sales manager Terence was very argumentative and kept giving me excuses for why things weren’t done properly or why he couldn’t do anything to help me. It felt like I was fighting him for the sale and for information after the sale. - It was never made clear that registration is only covered for leased vehicles and not those bought outright. The “out the door” cost that I negotiated did not include registration like I thought it did. - Every communication with Foundation Kia felt like pulling teeth and blocking punches, rather than a smooth transaction.

Stephen Buytas was a great salesperson to me. He was able to answer all the questions I had about the vehicle during the test drive and sales process. He helped me during the negotiation process and advocated on my behalf and remained patient the entire time.

I had a fantastic experience leasing a 2026 Kia EV9 Land with Stephen. I visited the dealership with my kids and was worried about a long wait, but Stephen had everything prepared in advance as requested. The process was quick, transparent, and professional. I’m very happy with the deal and my new EV9. If you're looking for a smooth car-buying experience, I highly recommend working with Stephen!

Working with Stephan was great. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted for the model and trim, and he was patient with me exploring multiple models. He was very helpful in finding the right car by understanding my needs and recommending options. When it was time to buy he did a great job making it as smooth as the car buying process could be. I absolutely recommend not just Stephan but the entire team.
