Last week I went into Millennium Toyota's showroom looking at some pre-owned vehicles. From the moment I walked in everyone was so inviting and ready to... assist me with all of my needs. Between the Salesman and the managers, I was able to get into a new Rav4 that was super affordable with all of the extras i desired. This auto buying experience was truly one to remember. I never felt so stress-free about making such a big purchase but because of Millennium Toyota's Staff this process was a breeze and exciting.

just now-EditI wanted to love this experience, but from the very beginning, this entire process was xxxx. Went in to look at a used mazda 5 around Memorial... Day. Test drove, and then negotiations began. settled on a price of around 8500, with fees and taxes bringing it up to 9500. I put 2000 down. So we are at about 7500. I should mention that I wanted to buy the car outright and not get a loan and I was told no, they don't do that here. And that financing was my only option. Seemed kind of shifty. A day or two later, it's time to sign the papers and pick up the car. I made an appointment for 7pm. Showed up promptly at 7pm with my 2 young children. Fast forward 3 HOURS. WE ARE STILL WAITING. its past 10pm at this point. The kids have school in the morning and are tired and hungry. We are FINALLY brought in to sign the papers and are offered a bunch of hollow apologies about being made to wait for so long WITH AN APPOINTMENT. I'm told they are going to throw in a 3 year/36000 mile warranty for my trouble. Even super exhausted, I distinctly asked "so the 7500 is all i'm financing correct?". I was told yes, and he even showed me on his computer screen. Documents were printed and signed. Fast forward to my first bill coming in the mail. Instead of financing the 7500, they put it in for over 11000! Turns out that warranty they "threw in for my trouble" was financed, and now, apparently, there's nothing I can do. I called multiple times to speak to the financial guy, and when he finally answered, I was basically told "what's done is done.... but its a really good warranty". Good or not, my budget was around 8K, as I told the salesman and the finance guy. Certainly not an 11K loan that I am now stuck with. Basically feel like they took advantage of me by making a mother of 2 wait over three hours until she and her kids are exhausted, then make a bunch of promises and hope she takes you at your word and signs the paperwork. But wait... there's more! When I purchased the car, one of the seat belts needed to be replaced. They told me they would order it right away. After waiting almost 2 weeks, the part comes in and I take my care into them at my scheduled morning appointment. Fast forward until the end of the day, over 6 hours later, I am told, oops, they ordered the wrong part and now I have to wait again for the correct part to come in. If you have a bunch of time and money to waste... this is the place for you. If you are on a budget, and believe in fair, honest business practices... STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM HERE AS YOU CAN!
I had a very bad sales experience attempting to purchase a car at Millennium Toyota, and I would highly recommend you avoid them at all costs. I was helping... my 74 year old mother purchase a car at their Hempstead location. We made it clear from the start that she was intending to buy it outright and that she was not interested in an extended warranty. After spending nearly 3 hours looking at both new and used vehicles she decided on a Lexus IS 300 2016 model that fit her needs, and after some negotiations we agreed on a price. We shook on it with the Salesman, his manager, and the Pre-Owned supervisor Sherif and thanked them for agreeing on the final number. They printed out the documents for her to sign and we were in the process of getting the registration done and processing the trade in. That’s when the sales person Gary came over and asked how we were going to pay; he suggested $2000 down, and financing the rest. We reiterated that my mom wanted to pay for the entire balance and that’s when things started to go south. After going back and forth with the Sales person and him dashing away to check with the manager numerous times, he came back and told us the deal was off. I was furious we had agreed on a price, shook, on it and my mom had already signed the papers. They were attempting to pressure a 74 year old woman into taking a loan she didn’t need, and refused to follow through on the deal we agreed to. When I asked the Pre-owned Sales Manager what was going on he was incredibly rude and said they had the right to refuse the deal, and that without financing they would not honor it. We grabbed the signed papers and walked out and we will never be using them or any other Millennium affiliate if that’s how they treat their customers.
I went to millennia Toyota that I will change the oil and I also changed the brakes was very kind to help me thanks. I will recommend this place to go
I brought my truck in for a scratch and a oil change. It came back looking brand new in less time than they said. Thanks Milennium
I usually never right bad reviews I feel it is snobby to do, but with the experience I had here I just wanted to warn other. My sales person Peter at first... seemed very nice I came in filled out the paper work and gave my down payment I was told my car would be there in a week. A week later I call and he keeps giving me this run around that the car is in Ohio if I want to may change a few features to get a different car, I explained just tell me when it will come. Everyday he would promise it’s going to be there and it wasn’t. When I txted him about it he then wrote me saying” if you want to know the truth your car is making me $60. Ive spent over 3/3 be better off working at McDonald's. I have customers that I can make over a thousand dollars in commission yet im spending my time getting this car for you cause i felt so bad.” This was the worst service I’ve ever received, take my warning if you want but I was mortified and disgusted by this behavior.
So i decided to made a big decision to lease a brand new car but had no idea how to go about doing so. Calling the dealership i was instantly connected... to a young lady named Kristina and within 15 minute i was already sold on the new Toyota C-HR. She was so friendly and personable I no longer was worried. Majority of the questions that i had was answered with no hesitation and she explained everything i needed step by step. I was then connected to her floor partner, Vinny, who was just as awesome as she was. He told me about all the features the car comes with and explained the payments and everything. Alyssa, In the finance department, also explained how the payments worked and made me feel comfortable with this big decision. The whole experience took me no more then an hour; i was in and out and driving my brand new car in the blink on an eye. I also received a follow call the next day from Kristina asking if my visit was exceptional, and my answer was ABSOLUTELY!! Millennium Toyota is definitely a place i will highly recommend anyone i know who is looking for a car. Once again; a special thanks to Kristina, Vinny and Alyssa !!
