I rarely leave reviews like this, but after spending

I rarely leave reviews like this, but after spending parts of two days at this dealership helping my brother and sister-in-law shop for a new vehicle, I feel like our experience is worth sharing. From the moment we walked in on Saturday, the entire dealership felt disorganized and unprofessional. There was no one helping direct customers, so we were left trying to figure out who we were supposed to speak with. Once we finally connected with a salesperson, he was trying to handle multiple customers at the same time, which meant we never really had his full attention. Throughout both days, employees were constantly walking around on their phones, having loud conversations, interrupting our salesperson while he was speaking with us, and coming behind his desk looking for things like tape, staplers, paperwork, etc. Employees were openly cursing on the showroom floor within earshot of customers. At one point, an employee walked in and loudly said, “Here we xxxxing go again.” It created an atmosphere that felt more like a chaotic back office than a professional car dealership. Unfortunately, our second visit was even more frustrating. We specifically made a 2:00 PM appointment to return and try to finalize a deal. Despite having an appointment, we waited approximately 25 minutes before being attended to. When we were finally brought to the salesperson’s desk, it clearly had not been prepared for us. Items belonging to the previous customers were still there, including a bag and umbrella, and paperwork containing what appeared to be their private information was still sitting out on the desk. That alone was concerning. Once we started discussing the deal, our salesperson left us for nearly half an hour to take another customer on a test drive. Before leaving, he asked us to come up with an offer that he could bring to his manager. We did exactly that and gave them two reasonable alternatives: either increase the trade-in allowance or reduce the selling price of the vehicle. When he eventually returned, he took the offer to his manager and came back about 10 minutes later with a flat “no.” I specifically asked whether management had a counteroffer. The answer was no. There was no attempt to negotiate whatsoever. It was essentially take it or leave it. What made that especially disappointing was that we were not there casually browsing. We had returned for a second day specifically because we were prepared to purchase a vehicle if we could come to reasonable terms. Instead, we spent a significant amount of time waiting while our scheduled salesperson attended to other customers, only to ultimately be told there would be no negotiation or counteroffer. I was also very uncomfortable with the way financing/payment examples were presented. The dealership calculated the payments using an assumed interest rate of approximately 10% before running credit. We were told this was done to avoid potential discriminatory practices. I understand not promising a customer an interest rate before a credit application is completed, but there is a substantial difference between explaining that rates depend on credit approval and presenting payments based on an extremely high assumed rate. Other dealerships we visited were able to clearly show example payments based on available Tier 1 financing while explaining that the actual rate was subject to credit approval. Shopping for a vehicle is a major purchase. Customers shouldn’t expect to have every demand accepted, & we certainly didn’t. Negotiations sometimes don’t work out. But I do expect a dealership to be organized, & professional, & keep appointment times, protective of customers’ personal information, & willing to actually engage with a serious buyer. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. We ultimately purchased elsewhere, and the difference in professionalism, transparency, attentiveness, and willingness to have an actual negotiation was night and day. I do not recommend.

I visited this dealership and decided to lease a Telluride 2025. I was working with Alex in sales. I was going on vacation that week so when I returned I gave Alex a deposit to reserve the particular vehicle vin # and all. I told Alex I would pick up the vehicle on a particular day and he told me that another sales person sold the vehicle I put a deposit on and I said how is that possible. He said it was a mix up but they would upgrade me to the EX model from the S model so I was ok with it. I got it in writing that my monthly payment would be $500. Then when I went there to close the deal they told me after including other charges like a $1,500 destination fee etc the monthly payment would be $647 which I coild not afford. It was the old bait and switch I guess. Then they tried to get me to put more of a deposit down and also get rid of the destination charge no frigging way I told them I do not trust them and the only reason for the issue is they sold the $43K vehicle and were trying to sell me the $47K model. That is why the monthly payment jumped like that! Do not but anything from this dealership, they are white collar criminals! I did not get the car.

I leased a Telluride from Atlantic Kia about a year ago

I leased a Telluride from Atlantic Kia about a year ago and I was working with a sales rep named Alex. The process was pretty easy, but he and the manager and Alex were adamant that I pick up the vehicle the following day. I picked up the vehicle on the day asked only to find out the Telluride went on a major sales special the following day which would have lowered my payment considerably. Also, the app with the remote start was important to me since I have a long walk to my car in the winter from my complex. I was never told the app will work for one year and now they want $20 a month for the balance of the lease. Will be going to different dealer in the future if I even lease another Kia.
