Porsche Hilton Head

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Porsche Hilton Head while attempting to sell my 2023 Porsche Cayenne Coupe S Platinum. I had been communicating with Devin Diggs, who gave me a $68,000 offer by text after the dealership had already inspected my vehicle. I explained that I could not return immediately because I was taking my daughter to college and told him I could come back the following Saturday. He responded that Saturday was great. Based on the $68,000 offer and his confirmation, I turned down other offers in the $67,000–$68,000 range. I drove to Hilton Head that Saturday expecting to complete the transaction. When I arrived, Devin was unexpectedly out due to a death in his family, which I completely understand. However, the manager told me he had no record or knowledge of the deal and asked whether I could stay another night so they could straighten everything out on Monday. I rearranged my plans, missed work, extended my hotel stay, and extended the insurance on the vehicle based on their request and the expectation that the dealership would honor the $68,000 offer that had already been documented in writing. When Monday came, instead of honoring the $68,000 offer, the dealership reduced it to $65,000, despite my having the text messages documenting both the offer and the confirmation that Saturday was great. My issue is not that an employee had a family emergency. I completely understand that unexpected circumstances happen. My issue is how the dealership handled the situation afterward. I relied on their written offer and confirmation, traveled to Hilton Head, incurred additional expenses, altered my schedule, missed work, and passed up other buyers. I would expect a Porsche dealership to stand behind commitments made by its representatives or, at minimum, make a meaningful effort to resolve a situation like this. That did not happen. I have filed formal complaints regarding my experience because I believe prospective customers should know how this transaction was handled. Based on my experience, I would not do business with Porsche Hilton Head again.

I first started my relationship with Porsche of Hilton Head with service for an older Cayenne. This was a very good experience every time service was needed. Fast forward several years to needing to replace this older Cayenne with a newer one. I emailed the dealership about CPO Cayenne SUVs that they had and was fortunate to get a call back from Chris Morea! He went to work right away and was not afraid to check into other cars in the Southeast Region that matched my description. He was by the hardest working salesperson I have ever dealt with. The car was located and the process was painless and efficient to say the least. We were very fortunate once again to get Andrew Jones in the financial department to work with. He was quite knowledgeable, accommodating, and proficient in his work also! This dealership is the only one in the state of SC that is a Generation 5 dealership! I loved the open space and natural light that came through the sky lights and glass windows! I can not say enough positive things about Porsche of Hilton Head! Check 'em for yourself! You will not be disappointed!

Porsche of Hilton Head service department continues to exceed my expectations. Service manager Mike and lead service advisor Emma had my vehicle serviced, washed and ready to go in short order. I received a loaner vehicle and was notified as soon as service was completed. Highly recommend this dealership.

We drove a distance from another state to get to the dealership. They had the vehicle ready for a test drive. The car was just as described. It was immaculate. The service from consultants were superb. The transaction went seamless. I would highly recommend the staff and dealership to others.
