EJ went above and beyond to ensure everything was right with my 2005 Honda CRV (even dipping into his commission to make last minute replacements). I had been test driving at a couple larger dealerships and they just felt slimy and were very clearly price gouging, 19 Auto Group is family owned and you can tell they value integrity. EJ made my first car buying experience super easy and genuine. Would recommend!

Called initially to inquire about two different vehicles. Was told they were clean, price was firm, and that id receive a follow up regarding additional photos of "surface rust" for one of them. Never called back. My brother tried calling three times and was told no electronic signature could be made, they would mail paper work for titling and payment which would mean even if I looked at it, would be days remaining down there before driving back with a prospective car. So I drove 500+ miles, cash in hand, to look at both. Jesus Christ both vehicles were laughable. The first car had rot, not surface rust, from multiple areas where body work was performed: the rear quarter had a square foot of 180 grit sanding marks, the clear coat was peeling away in sheets, the rust was everywhere that the body shop prepared, the list goes on. I then looked at the second vehicle: paint had stress fractures under the clear coat that terminated in the top right part of the roof, indication the car had been hit hard enough to distort the sheet metal/bend the frame. The front right door vibrated while the motor ran, and the paint work was a joke. Surfaces for the hatch, roof, and right side were not prepared or painted properly as dirt was present underneath and paint could be flaked away by running your finger along the edge. Moreover, the second car sat for a considerable time because there wer spiderwebs in the engine bay and chunks or heat shield material missing from the hood (possible rodent damage). Both cars had at least 3-4k worth of issues to address, frankly the cars would have been worth more being left damaged and not "fixed" by the body shops that painted them. The sales person proceeded to defend the pricing saying they are competitively priced and I called them out on it. Maybe if the vehicles were actually clean, they might be worth it, but as it stood neither were. Consequently, they dropped the price on one of the cars by $500 despite being "firm" on price. When someone is interested in a vehicle and traveling across state lines, remain communicative and accommodate. More importantly, be honest regarding the condition of the vehicle. Surface rust is surface rust, rot is rot. The two are not the same.

Not good at communicating. After the first initial contact it was hard to get someone to call, text, or email me back.
