UPDATE: After taking my car to Shell in Palo Alto, (where we should have taken it in the first place), they told me the rear, not the front damaged tire was replaced by Chevrolet Boardwalk. I called the dealership back and was hung up on by Jenny Pineda multiple times and then left on hold for 15 minutes before she finally (very rudely) picked up the phone. When I was finally connected to Jason Manown and told him they replaced a perfectly good tire and left the one with the nail. He said they rotated the tires 'free of charge' so the new tire was on the back now. Ridiculous! We did not authorize a tire rotation since the tires were only a few months old. They replaced the wrong tire and still wouldn't give me my money back!! DO NOT GO HERE! I'm filing a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repairs, the Department of Consumer Affairs and the States Attorney General and you should too if you have experienced anything similar. ------ Poor communication, lack of accountability and waste of money. Brought the car in on Wednesday to check out the battery and a leaky tire. We were told it might be a minute since it was right before the Thanksgiving holiday. totally understandable. A week later, we heard nothing from them so we called them the following Wednesday. It appeared they forgot about our car. They call us later that day, letting us know that nothing was wrong with our battery and that there was a nail in the tire. Picked the car up on Friday. My husband noticed the PSI light was still on for the same tire, but he was in a rush to get back to work and figured it would reset on its own. Later that day, my son pointed out that the psi had dropped down to 27. Called them on Monday to let them know the PSI was not calibrating. Brought the car back in on Tuesday and we were told there was a piece of metal in the brand new tire and it needed to be replaced. I referenced that when we called Monday, I mentioned that the psi light was on but the dealer would not acknowledge any fault on their part, offered free labor but full price for another new tire, even though it was obvious the tire was damaged before it left the lot. Zero accountability and communication. If you want honest service and reasonable prices, I highly recommend you go to the Shell in Palo Alto on El Camino. That's where I took our car after the debacle at this dealership. We should've done it in the first place. Would've saved us $600 and LOTS of time. Never again!

Incredibly poor communication and everyone I have interacted with has felt shady. I put down a $10k for a deposit for a 2023 C8 Z06 in 2021, and barely received any communication or status updates from Boardwalk Chevy. Any communications I did received were dismissive and never really answered any specific questions. As much as I still would like to wait and get the Z06, Boardwalk Chevy doesnt deserve to keep my $10k.

I am reaching out to you to share my frustration. I purchased a 2022 Chevy Tahoe High Country back in June of 2022. At the time of sale, I was informed that I would be notified when the lumbar system parts to my vehicle would come in and be installed as the vehicle was missing these parts. The situation didn’t seem out of the ordinary for the time period as many cars that I was interested in were missing parts and/or chips. I proceeded with the purchase in good faith that the car would be complete and the car I paid for. I inquired many times to see if the parts were in as I had not received any notices. I had my car serviced at Stevens Creek Chevy in December 2023 and was informed by them that no notes were on my vehicle profile and that I needed to contact Boardwalk to find out what was happening. I contacted Boardwalk on December 23, 2023. I spoke with Joe and Rick who stated they’d look into it. Shon Miller got back to me and seemed to have empathy for the situation and wanted to help. He suggested I contact Chevy directly and inquire about the buy back program as this issue was theirs to handle ideally. I contacted Chevy and spoke to LaShondra . She too was concerned with the situation and did her best to help out but ultimately stated that this was a dealership issue and I needed to take it up with Boardwalk as they made a promise that they didn’t keep. She stated it was a dealership issue that needed to be resolved by them.I contacted Shon and he offered me a GM goodwill service contract but would have to work on it. I was informed that these parts would not be installed and should have never been promised by my sales associates David Campos and Elias Galanakis, who were both great to work with and both assured me that I would getting those parts in and installed as soon as Cheverolt sent them and that I would be notified. This was back in January 2024. Since this time I have made phone calls, left messages with seldom return calls, and have sent emails. I was told that now all Shon could do is try. It is now May of 2024 and there is no resolution to buying a vehicle with parts that I was promised and never received. I am frustrated and disappointed both in quality and assistance. I have a vehicle that is almost two years old now. It is not the vehicle I thought I purchased. Utterly dissatisfied and looking to resolve this issue.

Just picked up my C8 Stingray convertible, my previous C7 was also purchased though Boardwalk. Worked with Al since May of last year when I was added to the dealer order list. Al set realistic timeline and pricing expectations through the entire sales process. Good group of people to work with.

Just got off the phone with Al who stated that the 2023 Corvette I ordered 6 months ago, will not be allocated. As they are allocating new orders that are being ordered now with people willing to add $7500.00 over MSRP. Al tells me if I'm willing to pay the additional fee I will get my new car much quicker. In other words, just because we ordered they don't care about the fact that they will order yours ahead of mine if yours willing to pay.

They have had people on their Z06 list for 3+ years with a promise of MSRP. 18 months ago, they changed it to MSRP plus 10k. Shortly thereafter, they hosed the people that had been on that 10k over promised list for a long time w a second lie, they now put those willing to pay 40k in front of all the guys that had been on the previous list. Now it sounds like they are putting people willing to pay 75k over in front of everyone. One lie after another. This is not an honest dealer and cannot recommend buying from them. You've been warned.

Bought a 2020 certified pre owned Jeep through Boardwalk Auto mall Redwood city. The deal on the Jeep was fine however, after the paperwork was signed they only provided us with one key. When my husband asked for the second key they (Tim) stated they only have one key. My husband told him that's not acceptable and we need two keys. At that point the manager was asked about a second key which they then agreed to provide. Fast forward a month and the key arrives so I go to pick it up expecting them to have it programmed for our vehicle. Turns out it is not programmed for our vehicle and Boardwalk Auto mall refuses to take care of it saying that programming was not part of the deal. So buyer beware of you choose to do business with this dealership they are very shady.

General manager Joe Service advisor Ramon Torres Service technician Fernando Costa I received a Service notice at the end of January 2021 I took my car to Boardwalk Chevy on Sunday, February 7th My car was running great, I had 27,063 miles I received a call from Ramon Torres on Tuesday, February 9th and he informed me that my car was ready for pick up. I picked up my car on Wednesday, February 10th at 4:50pm. I noticed my car now had 27,073 miles but they failed to report the correct amount of miles in my invoice. Since I first drove the car it was not driving the same way as when I left it at the dealership but I thought they had adjusted something. I only drove my car a couple miles and 1 minute later I receive a call from my wife asking me if I was ok. She then told me that there was smoke coming out of the bottom of the car. When I stopped at the red light I noticed a lot of smoke coming from under the hood and I immediately pulled over. I contacted Chevy service department to ask what they had done to my vehicle but they didn’t answer my calls, I left voicemails and emails. My car did not make it home working properly coming straight from the dealership. Ramon Torres the Service Adviser had told me that my car was in great condition when in reality my car had serious damage. I took pictures and videos. I called the dealership February 11th and they failed to return my calls. On February 15th my brother in law and I went to Boardwalk Chevrolet to see if they would take a look at the damage they caused. Ramon immediately told me that they didn’t do any work to my car and that they only took my car for a ride to try duplicating the over heating problem. Ramon also charged me $250 because he said my car was in perfect condition and they had to diagnose it for nothing. Ramon told me my car was in great shape, when in reality my car wasn’t. My car was taken for a wild joy ride. The technicians must have got on the accelerator and redline clutch dumped my car causing for it to burn. I contacted the general manager Joe, who told me that Ramon was the one who will be handling my case. It is obvious that Ramon did not care about my situation and he blamed it on me. I’ve always had high expectations from Chevy and this experience has damaged their prestige. I contacted General Motors customer service and Kassandra helped me get my car into Putnam Burlingame since I do not trust Boardwalk Chevrolet with my car. Westly from Putnam called me Friday morning and informed me of the terrible news. He told me that my car has serious damage. The clutch has burned out and the repair is $7,000. He also told me there was no reason why Boardwalk Chevrolet did not want to fix the over heating problem if I presented the service notice to them. This has been a terrible experience and I would not want anyone to go through this stressful and frustrating situation. I am glad I did not hurt anyone else or injured myself I hope to hear your positive response.

told by service advisor both axel and seal were replaced. Seal was not replaced causing diff to run low on oil. Causing Premature failure of the rear differential. When I bought the car back they resealed the rear differential saying everything was okay. When I picked the car up from dealer, the Diff was now making howling noises. I would not recommend any boardwalk dealer!

$1200 Service!!? I originally went in for a manufacturers recall and an Engine light - All of which would have been covered under warranty. I recently bought the car and it needed an oil change and the tires rotated. I asked for a service and the Advisor scheduled me for a maintenance preferred service. The vehicle had 41k miles at the time of the service and they decided to complete the 45k service which is fine. Ramon the advisor completed up sold me and cited the 40k service instead of the 45k service and did a lot of additional work outside the service manual which mind boggled me. This is the meaning of "maintenance preferred" its a premium service you don't need but that is how they make money and prey on the trusting people who walk into their garage. Whats more is when I rang the manager and advisor they cited that because of California's conditions they offer this kind of service to everyone. Its the bay area - temperatures are not extreme and the roads are better than most other states! I am extremely disappointing with the dishonesty of this dealership and their unwillingness to make it right by offering me more than a free oil change. What is worse is that the advisor never gave me details of the service in a quotation when I dropped my car in - very unprofessional and dishonest. I would not recommend anyone bringing their vehicle here for a service! Or if you do get details of the service or just tell them exactly what you need and be firm with them.
