I I bought a used Cadillac XT4 in February, The dealership texted me a service reminder with two different packages for services offered. I made an appt online and selected one of the service packages offered on their website. When I arrived at the dealership for the appt. Randy gave me a list of things that were needed according to the mileage on the car and it was over $800. I told him I was only interested in the package I selected on the website. he said he had never heard of that, so I showed him on my phone that you can log into the website and make an appointment online and select the package. He would not acknowledge what i showed him, they would not service my car for the package price online. I spoke to Jared the service manager and he said that pricing was “not reality”. I explained to him that it is on the friendly cadillac website. He would not honor the package price that’s listed online. I wasted my time making an appt and going there Terrible customer service. He told me general motors does these offers and doesn’t tell the dealership. Not sure why he would want to offer that information to customers as it sounds unprofessional. I’ve bought 5 cars over the years from this dealership. I will take my business to Serra from now on.

I'm very sorry for your experience we do value you as a customer, unfortunately some of the services you wanted on your vehicle are not all covered by that particular package. Sincerely, Jim Riehl
That is incorrect, no one asked me what services I wanted. I specifically wanted what was included in the package and I was told that the package price was “not reality”. Randy and Jarod said they had never heard of it and wouldn’t honor the service i specifically went online and scheduled. The package is still offered on your website as of right now!!!

For their pre-owned car: Run.
For their pre-owned car: Run. Long story short: Bait and switch. This is a big red flag for dealers. 1 week ago, I saw a Cadillac XT5 Luxury on Carfax, called immediately, and scheduled a test drive for the next day. However, when I confirmed with them the next day, they told me it was just sold and tried to talk me into another XT5 which is $4,000 more for the same condition. Luckily, I didn't leave home yet. Otherwise, I would end up spending 2 hours driving for a lie, for a car that doesn't exist. The funny thing is, after 1 week, that car is still on their website and Carfax. I bought a pre-owned 2 days ago, and the info has already been taken down from both the dealer's website and Carfax. Therefore I can confirm here Friendly Cadillac is definitely doing Bait and Switch. I resent dealers like this. They simply DON‘T care and they jerk you around for fun, and also your money.

I’m sorry you feel that we do bait and switch I can assure all that we do not and my family hasn’t built our name and reputation over the last 50 years being unethical. It does happen that when someone calls and schedules to look at a car that the car they are inquiring about does get sold, it’s our business and if someone doesn’t leave a deposit on the car we will sell it to a ready willing and able customer. Obviously if we sell a car you are interested we are going to show you other options we have available even if they are more money again this is our business. Sincerely Jim Riehl

I worked with Terance on a pre-owned car, he made the process easy and took the time to show me the car and to be confident even the windshield waipers before the test drive. Mark the manager came out and talked with me , no pressure and very freindly. Even to Joe fiance all the way around top notch experience. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a car as well as a good experience. I have bought many cars over the years , one of the best for sure. thank you guys

Can't say enough about the Service Dept. Jarrod, Pete, and Randy work so hard for their customers. I commend the dealership for keeping these guys on their staff for so many years. Thomas in Sales also helps me whenever I purchase a vehicle, this year will hopefully be my 4th lease or purchase through him. I will continue to use this dealership even though it is an hour away from my residence.

My family and I have purchased 5 Cadillacs from this dealer and I’m trying to Lease another one right now, but I can’t get the sales person to call me back. I shouldn’t have to chase a dealer to buy a car. I guess loyalty doesn’t mean anything to them.

I will get into this and see what I can do to get to the bottom of what happened, please though email me direct with any questions or concerns @ jriehl3@friendlyautogroup.com rather than creating another bad review like you did on dealer rater after you started the process with a bad review on google. Please don’t take this the wrong way I am more than happy to try and help you but it’s not really fare to give us multiple bad reviews especially when the dealer rater one was to comment on your appreciation on me helping and providing the salespersons name. I purchased a 2015 CTS with 84K miles. I was told that they had done a 160 point inspection and everything was good. I had to take it back for an alignment which I knew I would have to do. After less then 1K miles it needed new brakes and rotors. I have aksed for a copy of the inspection report-no luck. The service department is assume, but sales-not so much. Should have known when the sales guy kept asking for more "cheddar" to lower the payment.

I'm sorry you feel your vehicle is a lemon unfortunately the dealer cannot just take the car back and give you a replacement. There's a process that has to be gone thru with General Motors and the dealer is not part of that, as I believe I told you on the phone. Friendly Cadillac does not have the authority to buy cars back under lemon law that worked out between the customer and Cadillac, if you thing=k you have a true lemon law case please reach out to Cadillac or have an attorney reach out to Cadillac.
