Had a unique experience with this dealership.

Had a unique experience with this dealership. Bought a pre-owned vehicle with low-mileage from this dealership. Vehicle ran great during test-drive. Got the vehicle home and let it sit overnight for 14 hours so that the engine would start COLD-COLD the next morning. Immediately heard significant piston-slap. Literally, let the vehicle idle in my driveway, walked 30 feet away around the corner of my house, and could still hear the piston-slap. With the engine-bay (hood) closed, and all the windows rolled-up, could hear the piston-slap inside the vehicle. On top of that, upon cold-cold start, the idle was extremely rough for a vehicle with so few miles. This was a low-mileage vehicle, and the idle was so rough that I didn't have to be sitting in the vehicle to feel it. I could literally put my hand on the side of the vehicle and feel the rough idle in my hand. I immediately suspected either a bad piston (ring) or cracked cylinder. My father wanted to hope for the best, and decided to change the spark plugs. Lo and behold, ONE OF THE SPARK PLUGS WAS BRAND NEW, while the others clearly hadn't been changed sine the vehicle was new, meaning someone knew there was a problem with one of the cylinders, and had changed the spark plug of the cylinder that he thought was "missing". Then we took the vehicle for inspection, and again, lo and behold, it failed emissions. I'm a C-grade hobbyist mechanic at best. I could never make a living as a mechanic. But it took me all of 3 minutes after starting this vehicle cold-cold (after the engine sat cold for 14 hours) to recognize that there was something seriously wrong. We returned the vehicle to the dealership, and wiped our hands of the situation. Under any other circumstances I would leave an extremely unhappy review, but, in this instance, Ed Morse Ford was apologetic, immediately accommodating, canceled the sale, and we walked-away without paying any expense other than the price of the spark plugs we replaced. I genuinely believe the sales-team meant well, and may have been mislead by the service team. Either way, the Ed Morse team apologized, took the vehicle back, and no-harm/no-foul.

Bought a used truck from Ed Morse ford.

Bought a used truck from Ed Morse ford. The truck hadn’t been thru inspection yet. But the GM said he’d fix anything out of spec or unsafe. Well it got inspected and they found that it had two cracked/broken coil springs in the front suspension. They called this normal and told me the truck is ready for pick up. Cracked/broken coil springs is unsafe. They also missed in their inspection that it’s completely missing a sway bar bushing. They also tried to remove the last dealers decal with a razor blade and scratch the heck out of the paint. Extremely upset. They didn’t stick to their word and then tried to put me and my family in an unsafe vehicle. Of course tried talking to my salesmen whom gave attitude and did nothing. Have yet to hear from the GM.

This was my first visit here since another dealership

This was my first visit here since another dealership near me had closed. I recently had my vehicle in for an ongoing A/C problem. It was a tedious task for the service department to get the problem resolved. They were able to get it working as new. I have no qualms about returning for any other services that the vehicle may need in the future. The staff were all very professional and courteous, and my hats go off to Jon Sternberg and Mike Rich Thank you Morse Ford. JLM

Fantastic experience and customer service.

Fantastic experience and customer service. This dealership was not blinded by the supply and demand fiasco of the current vehicle market. Toby was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with and so was the manager, Jim.

When we can for a test drive we already had all financial details ironed out so we could just enjoy test drive. All documents were completed and we were out the door under 3 hours.
