I had a motor rebuilt on my Honda after a gasket blew on it and am very disappointed in the results. I paid $3,000 3 months ago for this work to be done.... Due to covid, the car has barely been driven since then, except back and forth to the grocery store. Our initial experience with this place back in February was less than stellar. We had a loaner car while our car was being serviced. There was a mix up on the dealership’s end with our phone numbers. They entered my fiancé’s number into their system incorrectly. However, they had my number as a backup the entire time, but neglected to reach out. When they did reach out, the staff was rude and obnoxious, like it was our fault THEY made a mistake. Some so-called “manager” actually yelled at me over it (a customer that’s spending $3K at their shop). I was willing to let that go and a different manager did apologize when we went to pick up the car. However, when we got the car back the cylinder head plug was leaking. This is an $8 part that wasn't replaced and came leaking from THEIR shop. My fiancé is pretty handy with cars and we replaced this part ourselves. Now a cam shaft sensor is bad - $30 part if ordered online. This was a $450 fix, plus an additional $200 for a car rental. They refused to discount us on any labor costs. We asked for a loaner car and were told “We’re not a car rental company.” We asked why this part wasn’t fixed since it is part of the engine rebuild and were told “It was in “working” condition.” Well #1, OBVIOUSLY it was NOT in “working condition”, otherwise it wouldn’t have failed so quickly. #2. They replaced a different cam shaft sensor, the thermostat, water pump and timing belts which were ALL IN WORKING CONDITION. #3 It’s common knowledge that sensors go bad. This is a 2004 Civic. There is no excuse for this type of error. I’m at a loss at why this job was half-a**ed so badly, other than they are intentionally fixing only part of the problem so that you’ll return and they’ll be able to charge for additional work. Since one of the cam shaft sensors was under warranty, we assumed that this was the issue and it would be fixed for free by their shop. But we had no idea that they did such a crappy job on the motor rebuild and only replaced ONE sensor. Also the way we were treated by customer service AGAIN was horrendous. When we were trying to work this out with them, the lady in the service department was awful. She was borderline mean, hung up on me when I got upset, refused to let us speak to whoever in service was working on the vehicle and refused to put us in contact with a manager or even transfer us to the manager’s voicemail box. I would not ever have a car serviced here.
I'm so glad I was able to get the Subaru from Friendly Honda in Poughkeepsie. Angel was so helpful in securing the car in spite of lack of Downpayment... and less than ideal finances. I have to reccomend him to the highest degree.
The staff at friendly have been nothing but outstanding! this week will be the 30th honda purchased from friendly!!! I send all family, friends, basically... anyone who will listen. You may not even like the honda line but i guarantee after sitting with the friendly (literally) staff you WILL WANT ONE

Make sure you have any "certified" vehicle inspected by a 3rd party reputable mechanic BEFORE you make a purchase. I paid roughly 4K above market value... (24K) for my 2015 CRV with over 40K in miles thinking that the "certified" actually meant something, and have had NOTHING but issues since the purchase. Only 3-months after purchasing the CRV I was told by the dealership that I needed brake pads, then immediately took the car to 2-independent mechanics who told me I actually needed both pads and rotors. AWFUL, UNREPUTABLE and DISHONEST, please stay away for the good of your wallet and mental health.
Bought a 2018 Accord from this dealership and it was at the service department for at least 30 days. Multiple problems and even had to be towed there !!!... I have never experienced anything like this. After 4 months of torture I sold the piece of junk !!! I will never step foot in this dealership ever again . They acted like this was normal and that I shouldn't be upset !!!
Paul Hoffman and Tyler Stockfield where amazing. We had some issues with our titles after my spouse refinanced one of our cars and accidently gave the... wrong vin#. That causes quite the dilemma when trying to buy a new car. Paul worked very hard to help us resolve this issue which went on for several months due to the lending institution as they kept dropping the ball. Tyler helped me find the right car when all was said and done. Both worked very well as a team. We have been buying from Friendly Honda since the mid 90's. we will never go anywhere else as long as professional folks of this caliber work for Honda, we will continue to buy from this great dealership.
Great buying experience at Friendly Honda. Justin was our salesperson and Brian in finance both went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable... with buying our new HRV. The car itself is a beauty and has so many features to make it truly a great car to drive.
