Surprise, in will it cost you

Mentioning over the phone of the leaking water pump, I was told I had a faulty and most likely needed to be replaced. Going in to get it service, in turned out to be more then just replacement of any service, I get this long list of what the car needs outside of what I went in for. $96.00 or so dollars later, nothing is done except the looking over the whole motor and told what needed to be done. This is NOT what I went in there for. SCAMMED! No fixing, just the quote of what it would cost outside of why in went in for. No desire to ever go back to them. Not taking initiative to providing well ask for service and getting the run-a-round bill. .

Best Dealership Ever!

I was looking to trade-in my truck and upgrade to a new one, I looked at multiple dealerships but Gresham Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram simply had the best deals. I had the best experience with their sales staff, I will be customer for life. Tim Garcia treated me with respect, was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was wanting to purchase, but most of all he battled for me during the negotiation on the price and contract details. I truly feel that I got the deal of a lifetime. I strongly recommend to anyone buying a vehicle to visit this dealership. Thanks again for everything Tim! You are the BEST!

Thank You

I would like to thank the service department of Gresham Dodge. I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport, which was having a " mental meltdown ". Unfortunately this was not a quick fix, because it would only act up once in a while. Being a woman, my past experiences with the automotive industry have not been great, a lot of time i am dismissed, or talked down to as if i have no clue about my vehicle. However the guys in the service department were so patient with both the truck and me. So to Ken (the service manager), Jeremy (my service advisor), and Jason (parts department, I want you each to know how much I truly appreciate the respect, the time, the effort, and overall kindness each of you showed me. Most of the time people only hear the bad, so I wanted to write this "review" to let you know, your good side shines through!!

Go to Beaverton!

I have had three awful experiences with this dealership! Three! First, I test drove a Jeep Patriot and asked for a specific model, was told they could have exactly what I wanted delivered. I NEVER heard from them again, no exaggeration. I found the exact model & color of Patriot in Beaverton a week later so drove out & purchased it. Second, my moonroof leaked, Greshams service department fixed the problem but left me with grease stains all over the headliner of my brand new Jeep. Yes, against my better judgement I return to the service dept a year later for a water leak near my gas pedal. Gresham fixed the problem BUT left me with a gouge in the leather steering wheel cover as well as a gaping hole in the door of my Jeep!! Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Beaverton! Honestly Gresham jeep is a HUGE disappointment.

Sale Manger Joe needs Charm school

So my wife and i Have Been looking for a minivan for A couple of Months , back and Forth with car Dealers , man i tell you It is A very Brutle Used car world out there what a market , And most salesman Rip your throat out before you even walk in the door LOL we Finally found one At Gresham Dodge in Portland ,Oregon Area Nice Van Dodge Grand Caravan SXT used 21000 miles on it , i was Able to Get 824 dollars off based on van was retailed at price to sale , But the Bad thing about it was Joe at the Dealership i think they call him A Genral Sales Manger very Rude not very friendly seemed overwelled ,never greeted me or sayed hello , joe is very into his World it seems . so i was Putting down 2500 to make the sale go through but i still wanted my wife to come the next day so she can see and approve of it also you know wht they say Happy Wife Happy Life im A true believer in that . Anyway Joe wanted to write up a contract that if we did not get the car they were going to keep My 2500 Dollars i put down ? WHAT!!! Joe there are laws that i can return that car within certain amount of time And get my refund and stop the sale so it sounds like he wanted a seprate contract to keep my 2500 if we bailed out on the deal ,ok Joe Whatever , i have never been treated so bad by a Genral Sales Manger of a Car Dealership , will i go back No did i like the service Dave The sales Guy And Lars the Finance Guy Gave me exeelent service ,they were very Professional , i will never return to Gresham Dodge based on JOE and the way I was treated . im Also glad my wife was not there She would of Walked on that one and i would of Supportted her . Is the Minvan A good Buy yes and its a very Nice Vehicle my wife will be happy . We pick it up today 9-29-2015 and i Hope Joe Stays in His DogHouse where he should Stay and have no Action With Customers , the owner Must Keep him based on Car Sales , if i was the owner Joe would not be There ! Over All Great Buy Nice Van , But Joe makes It a not so happy experience At Gresham Dodge . Thanks Dave And Lars you made it worth buying there . sorry you have to put up with A reall unhappy Genaral Manger all the time i, Hope that Changes for you and the other Employees that work there. i Also wanted to say I did Pray Joe and his family i can See they do need alot of prayer .:) We may not like someone But we Still have to love them ...Amen

Looking at a used car

Spoke with sales person Tonia. I had my heart set on a used vehicle and after talking with my fiancé, we decided to ask for a lower price than the car was listed for. Tonia sent me demanding and mean text messages that was very unprofessional. When I called to talk to the sales manager Ron, to complain, he was no better. Instead of just- simply saying... that they could not lower the price they continued to be rude. Lost a customer over $1,000.00 wow! You know they are already making a huge profit on the used cars people trade in. This is why I hate dealership car lots.

Hi Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We do apologize things did not work out. We always provide our best price upfront online. We do much of our business outside our local market as you are solely because our upfront low pricing and quality vehicles. We did take the vehicle off the market, collect fund, send order to credit union as per request at the advertised agreed price. It was not until the next day that you did call us and tell us you would only come now if the price was $1000 less. Though online purchasing can be convenient, it will always lack the human element. We are sorry we were unable to reduce best price but do remember you are over 150 miles away and called specifically on that unit for the value. Text messages can often be misinterpreted, so If you are ever in town we would love to invite you in for cup of coffee and really meet us in person.

I bought a new SUV from this dealership. My review on the sales department was the truth, HORRIBLE. I do want to talk about the Service Department. After I bought my car is started to have an issue to the point I had it towed due to being afraid to drive it. The Service Manager drove out to my home on a Saturday to look the car over. He made an assessment and told me the car was safe to drive to the shop for repair. I took the car in on Monday, Ken gave me a rental car and told me I'd have the car in two days. As promised they fixed the small dent on the door, and the problem that brought me there in the first place. When I got back into my car he also filled it up with gas. I cannot say Thank you enough to Ken and the whole Service department for going ABOVE and BEYOND when it comes to Customer Service. If I need service again I will go back, but only because of Ken and his team. Thank you!!

Poor Customer Service (Sales Dept Only)

I was in the market for a SUV. I went to this dealership to take the car for a test so that I could compare to others I was looking at. This was on a Wednesday, the following Monday I went again this time with husband in tow to compare. On Tuesday we decided to go back and buy the car. We were told we couldn't buy it and should wait until the following day when the original salesperson was there. We were taken back by this but did as requested. Finally we went in on Wednesday. We don't live in OR and was a drive for us. All we really wanted was a car. After being jerked around from multiple people on my trade we finally bought the car. This car has so many options its a tad overwhelming. I was not shown ONE THING!!! The only thing they did was give me a car with no gas, and hooked my phone up. I do not think I'll buy another car from them. I only went there because the Service Dept is TOP NOTCH.
