I had an idea of exactly what I wanted from the website....

I had an idea of exactly what I wanted from the website. I looked at one and was waiting to see the other but I was informed that they both had just been sold. So he showed a similar model that cost more and brought it down closely to the one one that was sold.

SMARMY! DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE

SMARMY! DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE! They waste your time and don't budge from their "sticker price."  On a used car? Seriously? That's what used cars are for - haggling on price! We even called ahead, said hey here's where we are at. ART was our salesman (though he didn't get our sale so I don't know if we should call him that) had to check with his sales manager and call us back. Okay cool, he said to come on in he could work with it.  We get there, check out the truck, like it, and go inside to make the deal.  Again, we let him know our offering price (It didn't change since the phone call with him) and he made clear to let us know what he thought about our offer (he didn't like it) and took it to the sales manager.  He brings the sales manager out to give us the good news. The LOWEST they will go, their BOTTOM line was the sticker price. STICKER PRICE! LOL! Get outta here with that noise. We all know it's not your lowest and we were definitely expecting to pay MORE than we had offered - (this is what you do with a used car, you haggle, I mean isn't that the fun and exhilarating part??). We even called ahead. You could have saved EVERYONES time if you had just said - hey, we just can't budge from sticker price on this one but we have xyz others available to talk about. But no, Art did not do this. Art  made the decision to waste our time and said yeah hey c'mon in we can work with you. We even brought our 2 kids thinking this was going to be a quick deal we could make happen. The rub here is the smarmy car salesman tactics. We aren't here for it, you probably aren't either.  These jokers are out here wasting our time in an inflated used car market due to Covid. Don't waste your time with them, because they will certainly waste yours. Do better, Art and Gresham Dodge. This isn't how to gain customers.

Paul went above and beyond to make sure our truck was washed prior to delivery. Would have been nice to be offered a Ram Tumbler, or something besides mud flaps that advertise for the dealership since there is no negotiation for the truck. J&J
