Ralph, The quote you were provided was a good price for the both of us, we could not trade for the vehicle – it’s that simple. You write “I now assume price was an excuse to get me in the showroom because he contacted me and said he was having problems getting the car”….yes, that is what you were told, we could not trade for the vehicle. As has been in the news lately, dealer inventories are significantly depleted as the manufacturers in many cases have temporarily shut down plants due to the global micro-chip shortage. Then why when i messaged Jarrod and told him to order my vehicle from Kia at the agreed upon price, did he reply that he would continue to look for my vehicle at another dealer? I was willing to wait on the vehicle, but that request was ignored. Your dealership quoted too low. I had other dealers pulling the same scam. I did purchase the vehicle from one of the few honest saleman i came across.
