About our dealership

Tasca Automotive Group was founded in 1943 by Bob Tasca, Sr. In 1953 Bob opened the original Tasca Ford in Bristol, Rhode Island. Just one year later this dealership was completely destroyed by Hurricane Carol. Bob relocated and ultimately opened up the new Tasca Ford at 777 Taunton Avenue in East Providence, Rhode Island. It was here that Bob and his team became the second-largest Ford dealership in the world in the 1960’s. This was also the birthplace of the Tasca Racing program and many historic muscle cars such as the Ford Cobra Jet, Tasca Street Boss, and Mystery race cars.

I had a great experience with this dealership.

I had a great experience with this dealership. They were super accomodating. Called about a vehicle I saw online and was assisted by Jessica. She kept an open line of communication with me and promptly answered any question I had and met all of my needs during the process. The finance manager, Gabe, was just as helpful. Even needed some paperwork after I received the vehicle and he sent me everything I needed within a day. I am very grateful for my experience with buying my vehicle through this dealership. Due to a conflicting work schedule they even delivered the car right to my door. Would highly recommend!

I already knew that I wanted to lease another Mazda CX5.

I already knew that I wanted to lease another Mazda CX5. I worked with Gari Akhijanian who was very knowledgeable and personable. All my needs were heard and understood. Gari made the leasing experience and paperwork so easy. I highly recommend and am very satisfied that I leased my car with Tasca Mazda in Yonkers, NY.

Made an appointment and had the best customer service by Rachel and her A Team! Drove off the lot, same day, with a new CX 50 that has every bell & whistle I was looking for! The finance team even worked to get me a lower APR on our finance rate than was expected. Spectacular service & highly recommended!

After being royally screwed by a bait and switch at Mazda

After being royally screwed by a bait and switch at Mazda of New Rochelle I went to SC and was able to do a deal with no non sense. They could not believe what the other dealership pulled. The team was courteous, efficient and it also happens to be a much nicer facility. Highly recommend.

My husband and I went to buy a specific make and model...

My husband and I went to buy a specific make and model that we saw online. A dealer approached us and asked if we had anything specific in mind. We told him exactly what we found online is the one we want. He searches on the computer and says it's not available, which is strange because my email correspondence with a manager said otherwise. Then he asked us why do we need a turbo engine anyways, were we planning on racing? My husband and I's jaws dropped at the sheer audacity of that question. I was visibly pregnant. Then he calculated the estimated monthly pricing and made it seem like we wouldn't be able to afford the car. My husband works for the FDNY making 6 figures and I'm a supervisor at a busy hospital in the city also making 6 figures. We were insulted. He gave us his card, told us to come back in a month, and we left. We felt pretty disrespected.

My wife and I started our car search at Smith Cairns and although we did not buy here, the personnel were very patient, helpful and informative. We would recommend this dealership to others without hesitation. They were transparent on pricing and inventory and set expectations clearly. Specifically, Anthony Caparelli was a class act and very responsive and insightful.

Although I didn't buy my car here they have been extremely helpful by providing advise and service for some cliches with my new car. Thank you karl Miller for giving me the velcro strips needed for the ez pass. I will happily recommend your dealership.

The best

My family and friends have been buying cars here for 70 years. For years, just Ford, now also other makes. There is a reason people return for generations. You can trust them. Smith Cairns is the best.

Service Department is terrible

I brought my car in for service and it was returned damaged. They accept no responsibility and even had their employees lie. This is an absolutely horrible place so dont bring your car to Smith Cairns Yonkers Service Department ever !
